4 stars for this visit. My first visit. They have indoor and outdoor seating. And inside is nice, spacious, and clean. You start off with chips and salsa. The kind of salsa that's very mild and more like sauce. Not chunky tomato. Fish tacos are ridiculously amazing. Grilled not battered and fried. Delicious. Moist. Some nice salsa and special sauce on top. Two are way enough to fill you up along with the very good Spanish rice and retired beans. Both moist. Food came out piping hot. The Chile verde was also delicious. The way they make the sauce is amazing. Again piping hot and delish beans and rice. Very courteous service. Lots of parking Updated Dec'23: Really like Castillo's. This time I had a combination with tostada and flauta, both shredded beef of course. And the fish tacos again. I really loved both dishes. Updated July 2023: I’m forever recommending Castillo‘s. In my opinion It’s the best Mexican restaurant in this area of this type. The combination plate has many selections. I chose enchilada and burrito and always the shredded beef. The Chile Verde is also incredible. The sauce is so good. The supreme burrito is pretty huge and you’re going to be super full when you’re done with it. They have the thick style tortilla chips to start off with and extremely yummy salsa sauce. And lastly, pretty much every time I have come, the service has been really friendly, although I admit a little slow because they get very busy.

I will not be back. Cinco de Mayo experience was lackluster. Crowded, with little airflow (picture everyone eating in one hot room) & no privacy. If you are sitting at a table in the middle, everyone watches you and can easily hear your conversation. Music was faint. Took forever for service and taco salad came out burned. Never got a refill on water. $21 for shrimp cocktail & $16.50 for a taco salad??? Staff was trying their best, but overall seemed short staffed:/

We actually wanted to go to Bill’s Cafe. But it was to crowded. So we came here. Been here before for breakfast. Real nice place and friendly service. Never crowded for breakfast. Food was amazing. The chips and salsa was perfect for me. Not to hot and spicy. Come here often. Wanted to try lunch. Have an excellent lunch special menu. Just good food and great atmosphere

Oh, buckle up, buttercup, 'cause I’ve got a tale to spin about this place. Now, I ain't one to whine like a stuck pig, but this joint deserves a one-star review like a fish needs water.

So, I stroll into Castillos expecting a fiesta for my taste buds, but what do I get? A one-way ticket to Discriminationville. The employee, let's call 'em Captain Clueless, seemed to have mistaken the joint for a racist convention. I mean, come on! I thought I stepped into a Mexican restaurant, not a time machine taking me back to the Dark Ages.

Captain Clueless treated Mexicans like they were a rare species on display at a zoo. If I wanted a history lesson in racism, I'd watch a documentary, not pay for a plate of enchiladas. The dude was so backward; I half-expected him to ask if I came in on a donkey.

And don't get me started on the ambiance. The place felt like it was decorated by a blindfolded toddler with a crayon addiction. I've seen more class in a dumpster. The only thing authentic about this joint was its talent for serving up steaming piles of disrespect.

Now, I'm a tough nut to crack, but even I felt a bit uncomfortable in there. It's like they took the worst stereotypes and crammed them into a tortilla. My advice? Skip this sorry excuse for a restaurant unless you're in the mood for a side of bigotry with your burrito.

Castillos, you need a reality check faster than I need a software update. Clean up your act and stop treating people like they're extras in your own messed-up movie. Until then, I wouldn't feed my worst enemy at your joint. One star, and that's me...

Awful experience. they even forgot we were there and we were sitting right outside outside the front door. they had a big old party so they completely forgot about us. we had to ask every time where's our food where's our chips where's our drink and on top of that the food was trash We'll never come here again and will never recommend this place to anybody. how do you forget about your own customers sitting Outside the front door. They were too busy with their party and allowing everybody to bring alcohol from outside .everybody was drinking even the waiters. Even after we placed our order for food we had to ask where's our food they forgot. They had a mariachi band and the waiters watching the performance instead of getting us our service.

response: No it was your place this is a review from a while back. i'm warning friends not to go. i can send pics to prove it. you had a huge white tent in front right where my sit was. band playing only people you cared about was the party. everytime we need something we had to go into your place and find our waiter and of course no one else would help cause they said they were not are waiter. like i said do not come here. they should be out of buisness just like Orchard Supply next to them.

and you did allow drinks for out side i can send video of that if you like.? people were bring beer in...
