Ly's Kitchen — Restaurant in San Jose

I ordered the shaking beef aka bo luc lac and while the flavor was good, it was likely chuck steak and over cooked. The waiter also didnt bring the customary pho broth as well that you find at other restaurants. Their rice was a few days old as well, it should’ve been set aside for fried rice. I took a gamble coming here, but on a weekday at 1pm i was the only customer. Their prices are about $2-3 higher than the average in SJ. I’m not trying to be mean, but maybe the owner reads this and makes the adjustments to not trying to save on day old rice and microwave defrosting their meats… and if it is chuck, marinate in soda and...

They host very loud karaoke after 8pm. Not knowing this, we went to have dinner here but quickly found out it was too noisy. Decided to order for takeout instead. The staff was kind about it and offered us seats and drinks while waiting (we declined). The food took a long time to come out and in the end we only received 2 small pieces of fish for $18.
