I would loooove to give 5 stars, but 4 is pretty great. We love to eat seafood (mariscos) and sinaloa seafood is one of the best. Here you have a lot of options of hot and cold dishes. We ordered camarones cucharacha , ceviche mixto (with cooked shrimp) and beef tacos (for the kid). The cucaracha were our favorites, the spicy and flavor were amazing. The ceviche was great, with great flavor. The tacos were tacos but well serve and tasty beef. The food was amazing and we really enjoy it. The patio is great, pretty big and with table space for these times. The reason i could not give 5 stars, was the service, the servers were very friendly and very attentive customer but there were only 2 servers for the whole restaurant, 1 bargirl and that's it, so the service was soooo slow that we waited more than 40 minutes for our food. They were not able to bring more chips because they were out of them. Even the drinks, even water, took a lot to came to the table. I totally recommend the place, just come having in mind the time you will wait...
Read moreOur inaugural visit to Maza for brunch left us enchanted by its vibrant and authentic Mexican ambiance. The colorful entrance evoked memories of Mazatlán, Mexico, setting the stage for what we hoped would be a memorable dining experience.
While we were impressed by the ambiance and attentive service, we found the flavors of the dishes we ordered, such as the seafood Molcajete and Camarones a la diabla, to be somewhat lacking. Though enjoyable, we felt they could have been more flavorful to truly capture the essence of Mexican cuisine.
Despite this, we appreciated the warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere that Maza offered. As first-time patrons, we recognize that our experience may not fully reflect the entirety of their menu offerings. With this in mind, we are eager to give Maza a second chance and explore other tantalizing options on their menu.
Additionally, we were delighted to discover the bakery next door, adding to the allure of our visit. We look forward to returning to Maza and indulging in more culinary delights...
Read moreYou would never know what lies behind the welcome sign unless you go and I’m going to scream…Go! Parking sucks…so park somewhere else and Uber in. I’m comfortable with homestyle establishments. Maza is an outside seating only venue with plenty of shade covers. There are tables for small parties and groups-also a bar with stools. It’s like you’re visiting aunties house, she has a large outdoor patio and your family is cooking and serving you some of the most delicious food I’ve had. Mostly seafood based but my table had a baked potato, pork ribs, sushi and lots more. Drinks were just as good and covered the spectrum from beer, paloma, margaritas, etc. service was attentive and the wait for food was proportionate to quality and business during my visit (Sunday in August). A Maza meal will be the only meal you’ll need in a day. So good. One gender neutral...
