Parktown Pizza has three locations all in Silicon Valley In California. They specialized in pizzas and appetizers which they put their own Indian twist on their pizzas and appetizers. I’m a huge fan of Indian style pizza and their pizzas do a great job of incorporating Indian flavors in their appetizers and their pizzas. I had visited the Willow Gleen location in San Jose and I gotta say, I really like their food very much! They are only open for taking out and I do recommend getting take out from there if you love Indian style food.
I had gotten three of their appetizers and two of their pizzas so I’m going to start with my appetizers first. I had gotten their Butter Chicken Fries, Samosa Bites, and Karahi Wings. On their butter chicken fries, I really like the masala chicken and their creamy butter sauce. I thought it was flavorful and really delicious. I think there was some salt missing in the fries which I think would have helped the fries be a more cohesive dish but these were delicious fries overall. Their samosa bites were crispy and filled with potatoes and peas. Loved the texture and how soft the potatoes were with the peas. I also liked hoe the samosa dough was soft and crunchy and really blends well with the filling of the potatoes and peas The karahi wings I thought the wings were moist however, I was missing the acidity of the wings because the menu said it had lemon in the wings and I couldn’t taste it. I was not a huge fan of the wings but I did like the heat I got on the wings.
I got two of their pizzas which were Lamb Kebab Pizza and East Meets West. I loved their Lamb Kebab pizza! I thought it was super tasty. The lamb was perfect and the green curry sauce really helped topped off the pizza. I thought this pizza was well thought out and executed pretty well. All the flavors really worked well together to make a nice medley pizza. The East Meets West, I thought it was a clever pizza because it’s like East Coast meets West Coast-style Indian pizza. I do have to say in this pizza, it tastes nice, however, I couldn’t taste much of the curry sauce in that pizza compared to the other pizza. I wish there was more sauce in the East meets west coast like the lamb kebab pizza.
Overall, this pizza place has some great Indian style appetizers and pizzas. I do recommend this spot if you love Indian pizza and if you want to get some bomb appetizers as well. Definitely, a comeback to go to and I would definitely try other pizzas and...
Read morePlaced a to-go order at Parktown Pizza in San Jose on Meridian Rd., and the experience was exceptional! Even though I placed the order on very short notice, everything was ready on time and came out perfect.
I was in the mood for something different and decided to skip the pizza this time, opting for some unique menu items instead—and I’m so glad I did. The Loaded Samosas were absolutely delicious, with a perfect blend of spices and fillings that made each bite satisfying. The Cauliflower Bites were crispy on the outside while still tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning to make them flavorful but not overwhelming. The Curry Fries were loaded with bold, aromatic spices, while the Garlic & Masala Fries offered a savory kick that paired wonderfully with the other items.
Getting a parking spot right in front of the store made the experience even easier, and the staff had my order ready exactly when I arrived, which was very convenient.
Even though I didn’t go the conventional pizza route, these other dishes truly show off the variety and creativity of their menu. It’s clear that Parktown Pizza excels at offering creative and delicious options for all tastes.I’ll definitely be returning to try more of what they have to offer. Highly recommend Parktown Pizza for anyone looking for tasty, unique and flavorful food...
Read moreI walked in to pick up a GrubHub order, wasn't even started yet. The person working there was on a laptop on one of the tables that the customer sit at he was listening to his laptop so loud I couldn't even hear all 20 televisions that were in there. There was a customer sitting all the way in the corner of the building and he was trying to listen to the TVs but couldn't even really hear it. I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for one little order of ball things. There was not one other person in there and I noticed when I go next door to Panda Express that they're really never is anybody else in there?. They don't accept cash at all. Only card. There's a sign outside that says Indian pizza. Not sure what that entails as well. I can't read the food because I didn't eat it but I won't be eating there because of the service I had to experience just picking up someone...
