I was a HUGE fan of Pho Wagon and almost made me want to cry when they became Pho Spot. Glad to taste that the Pho soup is still the same flavor! but sad to see that the price was raised and I felt they gave a little less ingredients. Not too big of a deal. They now give you the option to - Get a Large for $1 more - Get more meat for $2.xx more - Get more noodles for $1.xx more confusing... so is Large just a little more meat and noodles? I couldn't tell if the bean sprouts were dirty or just old. They seemed grey or dusty. The service has definitely gone down. They kept spraying A LOT of their cleaning fluid on the tables nearby to clean them which came into our nose while eating the pho. They are also aren't as attentive as before. It took a while to get someone to bring our check. I'm mixed. I still crave their soup taste.

We happened upon here when we were looking for a place to eat that's near our prior appointment. They didn't seem to have the usual chinese food mixed-in in their menu of vietnamese menu items, so at first glance, they seem very authentic. We ordered a pho soup and a rice bowl, and both arrived in good portions or on the larger side. The fried egg roll came with a sweet and sour sauce, not the vinegar mixture if you're used to that. We didn't mind it, though, and didn't ask if they have vinegar. The soup and rice bowl were both great and would eat here again if we're nearby. Btw, they should check their lime water. It's free, but in the last round that we got, they put too much lime that left a major bitter taste to the taste buds when drinking. We were almost done anyway, so it didn't ruin our appetite.

Fantastic and very filling vermicelli bowls! I had the pork, and my husband had the shrimp and pork. I am a hearty eater and was surprised I wasn't able to finish my bowl. We started with the pork spring rolls, which were the best spring rolls we've ever eaten. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere is very comfortable with a great selection of jazz and blues music playing at a perfect volume. We love this PHO SPOT and highly recommend it.

Expensive for what you get considering it's pho but not many other pho places in the area so they can charge more.

We ordered the #1 combo regular, which was supposed to come with assortment of proteins. The meats were soft but they only have one meatball cut in half. We also ordered a #3 brisket large. Brisket was tender but felt the soup was a bit on the salty side. Both bowls were $16.50 each. We shared a grilled pork Banh Mi, which game with a side of potato chips. The grilled pork was nicely grilled and cut in thick slices but the sauced coating was a bit salty. The carrots and daikons needed more pickling and overall sandwich needed more mayo. The sandwich was large to share for two and defiantly big enough for one person but expensive for $12. We wanted to try the eggrolls that everyone is raving about in the reviews but saw the price, which was 2 for $7, and decided to get the sandwich instead.

Service was good as someone was always around to check in. Order...

After living in Alhambra and Minneapolis, I'm picky when it comes to pho. It's a deceptively simple dish with noodles, broth, and meat. Because of its simplicity, each part has to be perfect; otherwise, the experience falls apart.

The meat in my order tasted horrible. It wasn't rancid or anything like that; It just tasted like a very, very low grade of beef. I was on my way to a meeting so I muscled it all down, but if I had more time I probably would've sent the bowl back to the kitchen. It probably had nothing to do with preparation; it was just a crappy piece of beef.

It's hard to review the rest of the meal, but I would like to try this place again. Hopefully, that was an off-day.

The restaurant decor was nice, but the service was a little brusque (never once asked how my meal was). Again, I hope the staff was just having an off-day. I see all of the positive reviews, and I hope next time I...
