Took my kid here for the first time. Mainly because it had a kid size rock climbing attraction. We stood in line and when we got to it, the lady had to check my daughter's height....i thought nothing of it...basic safety precautions I thought, but clearly, she was taller than the 3 kids ahead of her. The issue started when the attendant made my daughter feel bad by checking on her height over and over as if there was something wrong... even though she was clearly tall enough. I could tell my daughter almost cried and didn't want to try it anymore. After some time, playing on other attractions, I was able to convince my daughter to give the rock climbing another try. Once again, we lined up for a good 30 minutes. When it was finally our turn, the attendant told us that they were taking a break and closed the ride and told us to wait another 15 minutes for someone to come and reopen it. I was then a bit annoyed because we had no one behind us, and she could have warned us instead of making us wait 30 minutes just to close it down on us. She could have let my daughter go and then leave, but instead acted with what seemed like prejudice. What did we even do? But I was determined to get my daughter on that since it was what we came to do. We waited. Someone finally came to reopen it. Kids started cutting ahead of us in line. Ok, finally, my daughter was up next, feeling excited again, but no.... 2 more kids cut in line, and even though the attendant saw intentional this time, she did nothing to stop it. I really hope this is not how they treat their guests. Absolutely disgusting and I would never recommend this...
Read moreI came in on a Thursday around noon with my 3-year-old. It was $20 for his all-day admission and $5 for mine on this day. We also had to pay about $4 each for their reusable socks that have extra grip. I’m allowed to go in the play areas with him as long as I wear my socks. I am glad that there weren’t many people there—probably just two other families. My toddler got to play almost everywhere without getting trampled by bigger kids. He loved the toddler area and even went in the sections that were meant for older kids because he could do it pretty safely with the lack of people there. We stayed for almost 4 hours—he loved the ball pits and the slides and the bouncy house. We stopped in between and had some pizza and an icee—the Icee is quite overpriced ($9.70 for a large size). The pizza tasted good. The bottles of water are also quite pricey (3.40), but I found out later that the water from their fountain is actually very cold and tastes good, so next time I’ll just keep refilling my own bottle.
The staff was all very friendly to us.
I LOVE that they had a toddler-sized toilet in the women’s restroom—can’t speak for the men’s one, but I imagine they would. It made taking my son potty so much easier than normal.
My number one complaint about this place is how HOT and HUMID it is inside. I’m not sure if they left a door open and the A/C wasn’t kicking in, but it should’ve been 3-5 degrees cooler in there. I was playing with my son and was sweating. He was drenched. I cannot imagine how hot it gets when the place is packed. Do not wear thick clothes and bring your own water bottle to...
Read moreVisited on Saturday 12.09.2023 with one child that is 4 years old. View the attached receipt. Total for me and one child was 32.83, which I feel is a bit costly in comparison to other indoor playgrounds such as Kidtopia in Fremont or the one in Union City. There was the entry and the mandatory sock purchase. When asked why it was mandatory to purchase their own socks, the women (View receipt for name) stated that it was due to liability reasons. If someone injures themselves with our own socks, it is a liability for them. This reasoning is odd because we are requested to sign a liability waiver prior to entry. Simply add a sentence that children use your own socks at your own risk. In addition, they also charge the adult guardians socks in order to enter the structure with your child. It was crowded with a lot of birthday parties that utilized most of the tables and seating area. Reservations such as Kidtopia is best so that the crowd is regulated for safety. There was a bunch of kiddos jumping in the ball pit and bouncing in areas, almost crashing or jumping on top of each other due to the number of children allowed in one area. There are no staff members circling the area to ensure safety. Parents are on their cell phones, not paying attention to their children. For a more pleasurable experience, suggest company to allow parents to come in with children without having to purchase their socks and to have a capacity with 2...
