Pink Pink Tea Shoppe — Restaurant in San Jose

Terrible service!

I came on a Saturday afternoon, ordered 4 drinks. I ordered the grapefruit tea with light sweetness. I got my drink and it was super sweet. It is impossible this is consider as less sugar. So I walked up to a lady who was wearing a black shirt, she was in the pick up drink section. I said " I think the drink is too sweet, is it possible to remake" she stare at me and say "so you don't like the drink?" She said it in a really impatient tone. Then she went up to her colleague in the further end, who was also wearing black shirt that day. Stare and I think they are talking about me not the drink. Then the gentlemen behind the counter said he can remake my drink. He asked if I still want the same drink. I said I rather have something else. So he make a matcha drink for me. After the gentlemen agreed to remake my drink the First Lady who I spoke with came up really mad and staring at the gentlemen. I don't understand why but she is just rude!

She is super rude to customer and her colleague. I messaged the business the day of but up until now is Monday I still didn't get any respond.

To the owner, you are in business in a super busy mall. You get a lot of traffic coming for your drink priced at nearly $8 per drink. Is this really how you train your staff to treat customer?

It was a hot day outside so when I arrived at Westfield Valley Fair I was dying for a drink. By chance, I came across Pink Pink Tea Shoppe. For ease, just a quick glance at their Top 10 board helped me select my beverage. Black Pink Boba Milk Tea (MC2). Is this in reference to the K-Pop group? Probably not but clever wording. Here you get to choose sweetness level and percentage of ice. From the screen kiosk, it was simple to order. The staff were very nice to answer questions. The drink itself was tasty with a pleasant black tea taste. Only option was the agar boba which was a pleasant included ingredient. Nice chew and taste. Overall, very quick service, pretty cup and tasty black...

10/10 customer service - Ryota, your employee, was remarkably kind, helpful, hospitable and patient in helping me decide which drink I should get despite my indecisiveness, as I told him it was my very first time going to this tea shop and ever hearing about it (this happened over a week ago but I’m barely writing this review now). He went above and beyond and even gave me my recommended drink - which I’m so so grateful for and won’t forget! He deserves a raise for the excellent service provided. Try this place, it’s so worth it. He didn’t ask or even mention for me to write a review, I’m doing this out of my own preference. Thank you Ryota and God bless...
