The best bagels! I go here a few times per month, usually for breakfast on weekends. I do not think it is physically possible to make a better bagel than what you will get at Regal. My favorites:
Toasted all-in-one bagel with honey walnut cream cheese Toasted pesto cheese bagel with honey walnut cream cheese.
Their bagels are fresh out of their Cutler bakery oven. If you ask for cream cheese they will toast your bagel in their rolling toaster and then smother it with a lot of cream cheese. $6 will get you two bagels with your choice of cream cheese and you will be full until well past lunch time. Coffee is $1.40 - $2 depending on the size. They have good coffee.
The bakery is small and, rain or shine, is almost always packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Even if the line extends outside of the building your wait will be ~10 minutes or less. Don't worry, these guys are fast and you'll be happy you waited.
This place is busy. Despite the relaxing piano music and "friends and family" atmosphere, Regal is not the kind of place where you would do homework or read a book on the weekend.
The same 4-5 people are always working on weekends and they have always been friendly, smiling, fast, and they remember your order.
My advice: If you get a toasted bagel with cream cheese, eat it as soon as they hand it to you. The bagels cool down quickly once they are toasted. The bagels are decent when they are cold but they are heavenly when they are still warm! The temperature makes a...
Read more$16.95 for 3 sips of coffee in a cup of ice and one onion bagel is INSANE.
Look, I don't usually leave reviews, especially if I don't have anything good to say... but $16.95 feels like a genuine robbery.
Got a lox omelette bagel and a Vietnamese coffee. $16.95 is pretty steep but hey, it's the silicon valley and this bagel must be delicious right?
I didn't get an egg on the bagel, just an insane amount of raw red onion. I don't mind onion but it was a genuinely unpallatable and all I could taste was onion.
Oh well, at least I got a delicious coffee. And while the few drinks of it was rather delicious, there was an insane amount of crushed ice taking up about 80% of the contents of the cup. I could barely fit my straw through, but once I did I was rewarded with a delicious 4-5 sips of coffee before I had a giant cup of ice that now I can use to make a snowcone with.
Very good ice! Can't say much about anything else but great if you're looking for some nice tap water ice to cool off with!
The staff were nice... but I can't find anyway to justify the price or quality... my disappointment is immeasurable and my day...
Read moreI only came here because my favorite TV sitcom is Three's Company and their punny name caught my eye and funny bone. Cute and modern bagelry in a small plaza. Fancier than the bagel places I've frequented which tend to look like old 70's mom and pop donut shops or delis. The lox bagel sandwich is pretty good with enough cream cheese spread and lox. They add fresh basil leaves to theirs, which is different but I enjoyed. If you're looking for big fluffy chewy bagels this is not the place for you. These bagels are dainty and gourmet which is not a bad thing. Their cragels are interesting. I liked the texture of the pastry a lot but the Nutella wasn't really coming through for me no matter how many layers I peeled off. The cinnamon cragel was good, too. Not sure if they're eaten plain or with cream cheese but that wasn't brought up or offered. They will warm it up for you, if you want. There are outdoor bistro tables to...
