I love this place! I just moved here and my bf took me to sandwich after I went to the gym and I no joke think about this place 24/7 now! I go here whenever I need to be cheered up, in the mood for a good sandwich and I even came here on my birthday that’s how much I love it. Best sandwich I’ve found def in San Jose! Everyone needs to try this place! My bf LOVES the #13 and the avacodo and cheese is my favorite! (great for any vegetarians out there!) They make the sandwich right in front of you and no joke it has an amazing cross section! They do not come to play and make sure you get a hearty amount of meat and everything else in the Sammy! Tried for the first time. I was always curious but with a good review from a friend I decided to give it a try. Old school deli style with two people before me and they had ordered multiple sandwiches. Not too long of a wait and the woman at the counter was very friendly and thanked me for waiting. I ordered the Italian sub (among the many good sounding choices). The middle size was big for one person but it was amazing! The bread was soft and the meats were packed with flavor. I asked for everything on it (I usually request no peppers but felt like it was necessary for a Italian sub) with Italian dressing too. This place was quaint. It had a bit of a peculiar feeling to it. It may be because of the old Chuckee Cheese that was next door to it at one point. The sandwich I ordered was delicious. The bread was fresh and soft, and the Pastrami was nice and hot. I saw it cooked before it was placed on my sandwich. I appreciated that! Overall, I thought this place was worth $16 bucks - this did include the "Salt & Pepper." Chips, but not a drink! Give this place a try. I think you may like it!
