Taqueria El Jalisquillo — Restaurant in San Jose

I really really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I did not. I want to start off by saying that the staff was amazing and that was my reason for 3 stars. They were very accommodating and helpful. So I came here for taco Tuesday. There is plenty of parking and a couple tables inside. But it seems everyone that came took their orders to go. I got 4 chicken tacos, 1 birria taco, 1 cabeza taco and 1buche. I also got 2 carnitas meat only and a side of rice. They also had a little salsa bar, the cashier gave me some foil so I could take some limes so roasted chilies. I thought that was nice. I also took my order to go and everything was all packaged well. Now for the food, the meat was ok but needed a little more flavor. The carnitas were the best tasting but was still missing something. I didn't taste the chicken since it was for someone else. The rice I got for my daughter and it was very salty. Overall I'm sad I did not enjoy it. But maybe it was an off day. The name of this restaurant caught my attention me and my bf decided to give it a try. The service was fine, we ordered 4 plus tacos and 2 supreme tacos. There wasn't much of a difference. I added cheese as an extra. When our tacos were served to us we were both shocked as the cheese was not melted which instantly killed my mood. The cheese was very cold. We still ate them, the salas were good and meat as well. My boyfriend was fine eating them until he spit out a piece of tin foil. He had to check through his meat for any more. They could also add on making a little more sense with the pricing on the tacos. Instead of 3 different options there can only he 2. As the supreme and pro tacos are both basically the same. On the menu it also says the "regular tacos" are cheaper than the pro which...

Went here for the the first time yesterday 4/18/18 I ordered a super burrito a super quesadilla and a torta. The burrito had no avocado or sour cream at all!! It was dried and lots of rice hardly any meet. I had asked the cashier if they can put the sour cream and guamole on the side for the quesadilla instead of putting in top of the food. Well again nothing. The quesadilla was just plain meat and cheese. The torta was ok but again no avocado!! Not even a bit. I payed 28.×× for these 3 items and it was a total disappointment!!...
