When you finally pass all the homeless drunks (a lot) sleeping in the parking lot you arrive at the worst customer service ever. I decided to support my local business and avoid Little Caesars down the road, bad mistake. I order on the phone for quick service but when I arrive there was a group of people sitting on a large table after 5 minutes of them noticing me standing there one (employee) decided to ask if I had to order I told her I ordered on the phone she said nothing and went back to the group. After another 10 minutes still standing there a another employee got up and finally decided to give me my pizza which had been ready the whole time. By that time the pizza was cold and not worth the price. I want to support East San Jose local small restaurants, but not with that type of customer service. word of advice: when a customer walks in your store, greet them and give them their pizza. It's one of the best local pizza joints around but it could be THE best. I've been eating this pizza since I was in the womb. Anyone remember when the Old Italian owner would hang out with patrons? Autographed 49er memorabilia on the wall. The Green Parrot was still open then. The place used to be packed. Music blasting, beer flowing, arcade room. Nostalgia. Combo was to die for!!! Terrible Pizza!!! I notice a lot of the people who have given this place 4 or 5 stars have been acquainted with the location since childhood. It's possible that nostalgia has a lot to do with the rating because the pizza is horrendous. For the price, you should get a mainstream pizzeria pizza. The pizza is very doughy and it has minimal sauce. The toppings don't mix! They look just like the pictures on the images tab and they run off and just leave a flavorless dough behind.
