TEQUILA'S TAQUERIA SAN JOSE — Restaurant in San Jose

It's a cool lit taqueria spot. The waitresses are all very nice and always asking if ur fatness needs more food. Always offering more drinks and more extras. Their menu is very easy and a lotta pictures, u can't miss. Every food item has a picture. All the waitresses speak Spanish bur not all of them speak English, the sign of an authentic Mexican spot. I'm fluent in Spanish so it's not an issue. It goes up on a Tuesday as some might say.... during the day and after dark. The live mariachi teams of dudes show up on the dot at 1pm everyday. It's like a rotation of a special league of 7 different teams of mariachi guys. I been here like 12 times in 1 year. Always come to put myself in a self induced food coma foraging enough energy to pay the bill and make it to my car and knock out until I regain conciseness. The food used to be better...... 😑😒😏..... I don't do this anymore. 2 days ago I gave them another chance.... their "Camarones a la Diabla" wasn't spicy at all!! It had a sauce base of ketchup. It's not fair. "Camarones La Diabla" quite metaphorically translates to "Shrimps made to the Style of the Female Devil". Supposed to be onions, spicy, and garliky... it wasn't. I'm gonna give them another chance next...

We felt so Discriminated here! My family and I drove from salinas to san jose to eat there because we have friends that said it was the best restaurant ever ect.. we came it took a really long time to get our food. When we got our food we had to send our soup back bc it was cold and it took them 40 minutes to get the soup out again! My brother needed to use the restroom and the waitress lily said they didnt have theirs opened for the public.... few minutes later a motorcyclists came and asked to use the restroom and he was walked in and they said it was in the corner.... the cooks came out to greet the motorcyclists that kept coming and we dont get greeted the same their Micheladas were prepared and mine was sent in a bag with the 2 beers and 3 shrimps in a foil.... i mean We felt discriminated bc they were served better than us! Anyway the point here is None of us enjoyed our food we are now on the our way home feeling dissapointed! I wouldnt come back or even recommened anyone...

Never going again. Didnt like this short mexican waitress girl dark skin "mulilla la morra " i even gave her tips for her bad service i didnt want it to be shady like she was. I ask for my order everytime she would talk to me she would talk to me back in a bad way or would ignore me and ask me again. One time i raise my hand to ask her for some ketchup she saw me and ignored me and went to take an order from other customers , atleast say something but she didnt. I was done eating i asked for the check and for a box to go . She brought the box and didnt give to me or put it on the table nicely she threw it to the table very rude . I was gonna call the manager but i didnt wanted to make a show infront of everybody. Im not tryna say the place is not good to go eat yes it is but waitress like her who would like to go? But i think the manager should hire better waitress then her bc ni...
