Cookie Couture — Restaurant in San Juan

I ordered a cake from here for my sister’s birthday. The customer service was outstanding. I called from Florida and the owner took her time explaining all the options and texted me several pictures! I was able to fully customize the cake to our preferences. We aren’t local, so this was our first time trying Cookie Couture and we were all blown away. Amazing cake. The cake was nice and light with delicious buttercream frosting. The owner even added an extra layer for us at no charge because she knew I was a little worried about the number of servings. Then when I went to pick up the cake, I met her at the shop and she helped me decide on several more pastries to try! We chatted for awhile. She has a lovely story and shop and most importantly, everything was absolutely delicious!...

Last Saturday, May 11th, 2024, my partner and I went to this family bakery. Even though we knew that there probably wouldn't be many options left because it was the eve of Mother's Day, we decided to go. Indeed, they had very few options left. They treated us kindly, and we got a vanilla sponge cake with meringue. Also, guava cookies and other ginger cookies. It was really worth it! I discovered this place thanks to my sister, because I was trying to have a small Birthday cake ordered! WOW! I just can't describe how pretty the place is on the outside ,but the inside, with all the fresh cookies, pastry, etc..etc..etc...that THEY make, is indescribable. The cake I ordered was the PERFECT size for our small group and sooo rich in taste!! Definitely my "go to" place the next time I crave fresh cookies...
