Prepare to be utterly speechless! The Gelman Stained Glass Museum in San Juan, Texas, is an absolutely incredible hidden gem that left our group completely in awe. No words can truly express how profoundly impressive this museum is. From the moment you step inside, you are transported into a world of breathtaking beauty. The museum houses a stunning collection of stained glass art, with pieces gathered from all over, some dating back well over a century. We learned that it's the largest collection of antique stained glass in the United States, with nearly 200 masterpieces, including works from famed studios like Tiffany. The way the historic pieces are illuminated is masterfully done, allowing every intricate detail and vibrant color to shine. Have been trying to visit for a while now but every time I visit the RGV they are closed nor do they answer their phone. Finally they had an event for the public last week but I cannot find for the life of me about this event. It was posted online and now its all completely gone making me think if I dreamed of this event. Finally found a pic but very strange this event was deleted off their page. They even promoted it on the news!!!. Wondering if anybody else has the same experience that our family has...
