My husband and I ordered from here once on Doordash and it tasted good at home so we wanted to try it again in person. When you walk in, there is a cashier station where you order what you want, then they will tell you what table number to sit at based on your party size.

I got #1 Hanoi’s special with rice noodles and my husband got #4 Chiu Chow with clear noodles. We also got eggrolls, the Chinese fried doughnut and freshly squeezed orange juice. The eggrolls were meh and had quite a bit of taro so I wasn’t a fan. The fried doughnut tasted fresh and was very crispy. The freshly squeezed orange juice was great and definitely fresh.

Onto the main reason why we came, the noodles! The broth was super flavorful just like when we got it from Doordash. The shredded chicken was very nice, tender and cooked just right. Typically when I think of shredded chicken in pho ga, it’s mainly over cooked chicken breast but this was not the case so I’m thankful. It was a great mix of dark and white meats as well. They also had fish balls, fish cake and char sui in there as well and they were all great. My husband enjoyed the #4 as well but said that he prefers #1 for additional toppings. Oh also they have this chili oil with garlic sauce and it’s legit crack.

Highly recommend this place for their noodle soup. Very flavorful, broth is nice and clean and meat is cooked perfectly!

Pro tip, don’t get rice noodles for delivery. It does not...

Finding a parking space in this strip mall can be challenging especially on the weekend and during lunch time.

The restaurant itself is busy. You're given a hockey puck that'll vibrate when your table is ready. The menu is fairly limited as it's focused is on noodles and chicken rice. Three's ample appetizers but their entree portions are on the large size. Your order at the counter and given a number on a stick that you put on your table. The water and tea are self serve and the wait staff will bring you your food when it's ready.

The soup is on the hearty side with very little hint of MSG. The rice plate was unique. Unlike some places that use chicken stock to make their rice, this place's rice had curry flavor. The salt and pepper chicken was well done but their fish cake is something you can skip if you order the their number one.

One good place here is their drinks are fresh and not with syrup. They have sugar cane and fresh squeeze juices.

This place is very clean and on table chopsticks are clean. Ample sauces are available and their not shy about giving you additional ginger oil for...

Frozen seafood really sucks but the chicken wasn't the worst. I personally think I overpaid for what I ate especially the milk tea. It just tastes like water and milk. BUT THE SERVICE. The lady came to my table to give me my milk tea and gave us an extra coffee. We told her we never ordered the coffee but we did have the milk tea. She proceeded to take both drinks away to check on the orders but as she was walking away she said "didn't order this? Then why are you sitting here" after checking on the ticket she came back and said "you DID order the milk tea" and dropped off the coffee at the next table. I felt that was unacceptable behavior and quite rude. Her attitude ruined our appetite. Throughout the meal we saw the same lady walking around to clean tables and saw her spray chemicals onto the table where people were eating. Imagine trying to eat and you get sprayed with chemicals literally 5inches away from your food. Overall the food wasn't the worst I've had but the service was definitely not something I'd...

Until my friends from SF came to the South Bay to slurp some pho, I didn't realize I'd been eating fake Vietnamese pho all along. As a Southern person, I absolutely love slurping noodles, and the Vietnamese pho in the Bay Area is truly outstanding, renowned across the U.S. The South Bay is a paradise for pho lovers, with many Vietnamese people making the pho both cheap and delicious. My SF friends were amazed at how incredible Vietnamese pho can be. Here's a list of pho spots I've compiled with all my noodle-slurping expertise: 💜Pho Kim Long, though not as good after its renovation, still reigns as the pho king of the Bay Area. It has lots of high-quality beef and is affordable. Pho Ha Noi has successfully expanded with multiple branches, more refined than Kim Long but less down-to-earth. Pho 54 Pho Dao Leung Noodle specializes in dry noodles and pork bone soup. Pho Mai has average flavors but shines with its extensive menu and 4 AM closing time. Yummy Yummy has many dishes besides pho that are delicious. 🌟In San Jose, the further south you go, the less likely you are to find a bad pho spot. 💜Hue Beef Noodle Soup: Hue Restaurant is the best, with many tasty snacks. Bún Bò Huế An Nam has a rich broth, sweet taste, large portions, and is quite spicy. 💜Chicken Noodle Soup: Turtle Tower was the legend of Bay Area chicken noodle soup... not as good as before but still decent, with tender noodles and a fresh taste. (Just realized all these places are closed! Sad face 💔) East Bay Chicken Noodle Soup Chicken Noodle Soup 88, cheap, large portions, good value. Chicken Noodle Soup Family, many items on the menu are delicious. Wing Wah Chicken Noodle Soup ☝️The above are more Cantonese in flavor. 👇The following are more Vietnamese in taste, with lots of spices and toppings, generous meat portions, and sweet broth, not purely chicken soup flavor. Also includes Vietnamese Hainan chicken rice. Phở Gà Nhà has a sweet broth, super large bowl, and good chicken rice. Phở Gà An Nam's chicken is cut into neat pieces, can be paired with fried rice noodles, quite unique. Hai Nam has惊人的肉量, many toppings, and fragrant fried shallots. Pho Ha Noi's chicken pho is also decent. 💜Crab Noodle Soup: Nam Thanh Bánh Canh 3 has delicious crabmeat udon, rich broth, great texture. Que Ta Banh Canh Trang Bang crabmeat udon seafood noodles. Bún Riêu (Tomato Crab Noodle Soup) is available at the highly-rated pho spots mentioned above, all good, but the best I've had was homemade by my Vietnamese friends, even better with fresh crabmeat, easier broth than beef pho. Check out my cooking account @斯纳的投食日常 for recipes. 💜Teochew-style Vietnamese Noodle Soup: Focuses on seafood and pork, noodles can be rice or egg noodles, includes wontons and BBQ pork, fried noodles are also delicious, more Cantonese in flavor. New Tung Kee Noodle (潮记) Hai Ky (海记) Don't forget to ❤️🌟➕ this treasure list! All addresses are in the footer image. #HiddenGems #BayAreaEats #SanFrancisco

It’s 3:00 AM right now as I’m writing this review. I woke up suddenly at 2:30 AM with severe stomach pain so bad that I had to spend the next 30 minutes in the bathroom. The only thing I had for dinner last night was at Hanoi Chicken Noodles between 7:30 PM–7:50 PM. We ordered #3 and #6 from the menu. While eating, my partner and I both noticed that the beef noodles had an unusual smell and taste, but we didn’t think too much of it at the time. Hours later, I woke up in the middle of the night with intense pain that completely disrupted my sleep. For lunch and breakfast earlier that day, I only had my usual family food — something I’ve been eating for months without ever experiencing any severe stomach pain. This makes me strongly believe the problem came from this restaurant. ⚠️ I want to warn others: based on my experience, the food may not have been fresh and could pose a health risk. Very disappointing, and I will not be returning.
