They have relocated their chicken noodle in San Leandro. I have not gone to their place in years, so I decided to pay them a visit and try their chicken noodle. I came here on a Sunday right before noon. Once the clock hit 12pm, a line started forming. So I suggest that you either come here around 11 or after 1pm, if you don't like to wait. A public parking lot is shared by different businesses there. I went in and got out and parked on a street. This may get you a space faster than waiting and looking for a space there.
The place is quite small, so the air could be stuffy when the place is packed with people. We had four individuals ordered chicken with different noodle. The noodle came out pretty quickly and it's steaming hot! The bowl was quite big with a lot of noodle in it. The portion of noodle made the chicken seemed so few. Lol. Ok. Here's the important part of a chicken noodle which is the broth. The broth appeared to be different than any other chicken noodle places. It had a taste of little sweetness in it. Personally speaking, it seemed weird at first, but it's not bad at all. However, my girlfriend didn't like it. So the noodle to me is about 3.9/5 rating at this moment. The price of it was standard, compared other places. We also had chicken wing for 11.95 dollars. The chicken wings were NICELY fried. The meat was tender and juicy, the skin was crispy. I give it 6/5 rating. Lol. Sadly though, the price was quite expensive for 5 pc. of chicken wings. We also had Vietnamese coffee. The price was in the normal range. Did it give me a kick and was it so strong like I had it in Vietnam? No, but it's close. I enjoyed it. 5/5 rating for the services even though they made a couple of minor mistakes. However, it's busy af and they wanted to keep the tables going.
P.S. I thought I have taken pictures of noodles, but I didn't. Lol. Just look at the chicken wings. Nice color....
Read moreI couldnât be happier that this pho spot has reopenedâmy life feels complete! This place has always been known for its incredible pho ga (chicken pho) and the legendary green scallion ginger sauce. If itâs your first time here, you have to try the chicken phoâitâs what theyâre famous for, and itâs absolutely unbeatable.
They used to have a location in Oakland that sadly closed a few months ago, but now theyâre back and better than ever! Born and raised in Oakland, Iâve been coming here since I was a kid, and now as an adult, It was my weekly ritual before it closed and now back in my routine! The flavors are as amazing as ever, and Iâm thrilled theyâve kept that authentic, comforting taste I grew up loving.
The line is already out the door, and for good reason. Theyâve also modernizedânow accepting card and Apple Payâwhich makes everything even more convenient. Honestly, theyâre going to dominate the local food scene again because no one does chicken pho like this place.
This is a true classic, and anyone who thinks otherwise clearly doesnât understand greatness (or has questionable taste buds). If you...

Ordered the oxtail stew and chicken wings. Not pictured here was the pho ga. The stew was more like watery soup and the oxtail was hard and tough. It was eatable how ever. But for the price it was a bit high for the area. The wings were small, salty, and a bit chewy. A tad over cooked.
The item not pictured was the pho ga. The soup in that dish tasted the same as the stew. I think they are made of the dame base stock.
The parking was horrible. Had to circle the lot for a while. I would say get here early so you can grab a spot.
Once we got our food no one checked on us again. It might be due to how busy they were.
Since this place just opened, I would go back after a bit so they can work...
