The only time this park is useful is when the baseball field is open. And when it's closed, which is most of the time, you see it occupied by geese. There's nothing around the park except two playgrounds for kindergarten age children. Also there's only one restroom on the south side of the park. And if you happen to be on the north side, you'll have to walk a distance to get there. Make sure you are able to hold your urges. I wish the city were able to make the park more useful for everyone. Read moreWe were able to ask the parks guy if we can throw the ball to our dog in the fenced t-ball field. He said as long as he doesn't go potty there he's cool with it. My dog has dog anxiety and he can't go to dog parks so this is a game changer for him. He LOVES it and we can't drive by without him going nuts.
