5-stars for Aldo’s thin crust pizza. Yes, it’s more expensive than local chains but it is of high-quality ingredients and has remained consistent over the years, despite COVID where many eateries have reduced the quality of their food and yet raised their prices. 1-star for the website order to go ”support local fee” of 0.95 (I posted the fee and its description for the reader to view). For my order, that fee is an extra 5% of the total cost for the order. The support local fee reads like a “community fee” to support and keep Aldo’s and other pizzerias “thriving”. Huh? I don’t care about other pizzerias. I catered Aldo’s using their website order online menu. The fee feels like a way for Aldo’s to pad the bill to make more profit. If that’s the case, then Aldo’s should simply raise their prices and lose the support local fee. If however, the fee is truly a fee to help Aldo’s and other pizzerias thrive, then make it a voluntary fee for Aldo's customers, not a mandatory one. Either way, the additional fee is offensive.

Good pizza. My family isn’t a fan of pizzas, but we agreed that the pizza here was pretty good. We ordered one combination pizza of Aldo’s specials, half bread sticks and one clamp chowder. The pizza and the bread sticks are good, but the clam chowder is a but salty to me, but my baby likes the complimentary snacks that come with the clamp chowder.

Today was my first time there. Had a very nice conversation with the manager Manuel discussing pizza and other Foods. the staff was very friendly and polite and trying the pizza for the first time was absolutely amazing! I just moved to the area with my wife and this will be a great place to go for some nice authentic pizza with a smile.

I have eaten pizza at Aldo's years ago, and it was very good. But..about a month ago, I ordered a large sausage and mushroom pizza to pick up. I realize that because of the epidemic, emotions can run high. When I entered to pay for and pick up the pizza, the owner was angrily addressing the two women in the kitchen and kept going at it in the midst of my purchase. I felt sorry for them so I gave a tip. Well, got the pizza home and noticed a miniscule amount of the toppings I ordered. After taking a bite, the dough I found not to be thoroughly cooked. I paid a lot of money for a very substandard pizza and felt ashamed for leaving a tip to boot. I won't be ordering again from Aldo's, because being thoughtful to the customers and giving them an excellent product for that price, should be a top priority, and it was not...

I have been eating at Aldo's, starting as a child in 1963, through several owners. But now it's over. I'm not going back. The new owners can't get orders right even when you point to what you want on the menu. Although the thin crust is the same, there is almost no sauce on the pizza. The end of an era. If you order pesto dipping sauce as a side, they will put it all over your pizza instead of red sauce! And charge you extra,...
