Placed an order by phone this evening 5/17/23. I could tell almost immediately the gentleman taking it wasn't paying attention because after I requested the first item he repeated it back INCORRECTLY. He seemed very surprised he misheard me, because he repeated himself twice. As I went through the order, which consisted of ONLY their largest entree,5 component parts, it was clear he wasn't paying attention. At the end I asked him to repeat the order back to me and when he did so correctly I had hope it would be assembled and cooked per our order. My husband picked it up and asked before paying if everything we ordered was included and prepared as requested and was told yes. Surprise surprise when my husband returned home the order was wrong in so many ways. I immediately called the restaurant & the same gentleman who I placed my order with answered the phone. Since he remembered the order and what it was supposed to include/exclude it sounded like he never told the kitchen the instructions. He wasn't at all concerned I did not get what I paid for. Looking back on the entire conversation, from the initial order, it sounded like he may have started Happy Hour early?? Since he wasn't going to take the conversation seriously about our order I hung up. What was the point? He was trying to joke with me after I spent $30+ on an entree that was not appetizing to us as it was prepared. So buyer beware CHECK your order before leaving and tipping!! This is the worst service I have ever had a restaurant. I attended a birthday party in a back room that looked like it was designed for events, so they should be accustomed to large parties. There were approximately 30 adults, which doesn't seem like it should overwhelm a kitchen.

After everyone was seated and the server took our food and drink orders, he brought chips and salsa to our table. Thankfully, he did give us two baskets of chips. He then brought out waters for everyone and sodas for those who had ordered them.

It took more than an hour for our food to come out. When the server finally delivered the food, he told one member of our party that the restaurant was out of ceviche, clearly much too late for him to change his order. He left without anything to eat. While delivering the food, the servers walked into a room of 30 people and shouted the names of dishes with no idea who they belonged to. Two of orders were mixed up and the kitchen sent out and extra one due to the mixup, and the server was clearly annoyed.

The food was great here. The only issues were these: the first bite of Verde Enchiladas I bit into a piece of fatty meat and there was more a couple of bites later. But it was only three bites and I felt the fat in my mouth going round and round while I was chewing it so I took it out of my mouth and left all the pieces on my plate. I ordered the shredded beef Verde Enchiladas. The enchilada sauce wasn’t spicy at all, it was bland, with no flavor. It tasted green water. See photos attached. The Birria tacos were delicious 😋lean meat and not fat and deep fried. Very dietetic. I will say this, the chips were freshly fried on premise not fresh out of the bag😏, I know the difference.
