You ever take your hard earned money, order something just the way you like it and you don’t receive what you paid for. If so then you have Participated in customer legwork. It’s what a customer does after he/she pays for a meal that is incorrect. Either you have to have a receipt or call the manager, go come back to the store again so you can get what you paid. Ruins the meal. I ordered a pizza, a sub, and a pop. Not complicated. I didn’t receive the pop and my delivery driver decided to leave my food at the condo complex front door without buzzing and letting me know. But don’t worry my neighbor came by and let me know that my food has been sitting out there for I don’t know how long. I call the pizza place to let them know. I talk to the first person, they put me on hold, next person comes on the phone and asked me how may I help you trying to take an order. I told her I was calling about not receiving my whole order. Back on hold for another five minutes. Now the gentleman tells me he’s going to credit me back for the pop. Only problem is I have nothing to drink With the $20 worth of food I ordered. I begin eating my meal. The sub I ordered with extra sauce and extra sauce on the side. Had no sauce and just a small cup of sauce on the side I’m guessing they didn’t understand the ticket stating side of sauce and mistook it for sauce I the side?? Which I paid for. It’s just how I like it. The food is good here and the people seem cool, a little short when they’re busy, but cool. It’s just now I am out $20 and this is not an enjoyable meal. I have a 3 dollar credit for a pop. me being out of $20...
Read moreI must say it was absolutely delicious. The thin crust pizza was very good, perfectly cooked, delicious sauce, Good evenly cooked toppings and the whole nine yards. You can dine inside at a bar stool at a table but we did take out. The staff was nice but I believe there was a bit of a miscommunication and I don't think it was my fault. I asked for "A dozen garlic parmesan wings" and I received "10 hot garlic parmesan wings" although it was very delicious my girlfriend wasn't very happy as we were expecting regular garlic parm. Yes it said it on the receipt and yes I could have just looked in the box and checked before I left but I didn't and waited until I got home so that's my fault and I will not fault the restaurant for making a simple mistake. The food was wonderful and other than the little slip up I have no complaints. I've added a picture of my receipt so that you guys can get an idea of the pricing. Overall 9.5/10 from my one...
Read moreI grew up eating at Pizza House West and I don't care what anybody tells more or any amount of 'sophisticated' tastes I've developed as a slightly more cultured adult. Pizza House West holds a special nostalgic place in my heart and I will always love them.
Just a plain pepperoni pizza takes me home to my childhood the moment I taste it, and I love to wash it down with some Toft's Orange Flavored Drink to get the entire experience.
I have always loved the 'Regular' sub, it's a sandwich I make in my kitchen for my family as an adult. I've also always loved the veal parm sandwich but it's objectively quite dry and low quality on all fronts. Again, don't care, still love it.
And I love the wings with honey mustard sauce or creamy garlic sauce.
I have been to many objectively better pizza places in my life since but I do not care. Pizza House West will always be...
