Just bad. The owner is rude. My daughter’s coach had his secretary order two platters for the team to eat on their break from their tournament and when the time came the platters never showed up. Turns out they misplaced the order and had to call an employee on their day off to come in, make the platters and then deliver it. Well the girl lived about 25 mins away and the platters weren’t even started. The assistant went to pick them up and it turns out the owners never even started it. My daughter and her team didn’t get lunch because of their screw up. On top of it she said that when the employee did get there she was under the impression she was just delivering platters not making them. She felt so bad and jumped behind the counter and got to work. Still in her street clothes and her hair down. Doesn’t seem like she got paid for helping out either. She looked very upset. There were three employees there not including the worker whose day off it was and it was a completely crap fest. The assistant said forget about it and left. The girl who came to deliver the platters was told to deliver them anyways which caused her to stress because the coach had already figured out something else. This girl came to the school apologizing profusely and you could tell she was ready to cry. She explained it was her day off and she didn’t know anything about the order. She called her boss and told them we didn’t want the platters and he gave us a half assed sorry with a promise of three platters and a dozen cookies. Not even a dozen cookies. We told the worker to just keep the platters. She told us her boss would be super mad if she kept them we ended up just giving them to our church. How unorganized and rude can you be? I will never ever step foot in this subway again. I heard they own the yorkville one as well. I won’t be going there either. I don’t want these new owners to get my of my hard earned money. Shame on you for not hiring more people and shame on you for bothering employees on their days off when you make a mistake. If I were that young lady I would quit. We have her $50 for a tip as it was just ridiculous how far she drove and the back and forth she had to go through with her boss. The assistant even told the boss while the worker was here that they didn’t want the platters anymore. The owner got super mad at the lady who delivered the platters. Read moreI wish i could give you guys a sandwich review but my trip didnt even make it to that point. Those of you who knkw me know that my full time job is making deliveries to homes and businesses. So i have a SHORT time frame to get lunch or breakfast inbetween routes. This subway is in a convenient location right on 34 so i chose to quickly stop in this morning and attempt to make an order. I was in a hurry and it was early morning so they had ZERO customers and i was in a hurry so like most delivery drivers do, I attempted to pull up to the side of the building with my blinkers in a spot that doesn’t interfere with buisness or traffic, and run in really quick to place my quick 2 second order. It was DEAD so while doing this i must have run into who i now know is the store owner who was walking out to her car likely because of how dead it was, and she QUICKLY looked and started screaming and pointing to me to park over on a diffrent side. Now dont get me wrong, i am not oblivious to the fact that what i did technically was wrong but all of the truck drivers and delivery drivers reading this all know first hand how common the maneuver i did is amongst us, and also she could have KINDLY just said something and not done it in a way that made her come off as annoyed that i even came to her shop, but that hit me the wrong way and i pulled off. I understand i could have parked correctly and being in a hurry doesnt excuse that. But you dont have to be rude explaining that ESPECIALLY since i wasnt even in the way of ANYTHING. But im leaving a one star because you dont act rude like that to a customer even when they are being an idiot and should never be rude unless they are being rude to u. A simple “no sir you have to park elsewhere” wouldve been perfectly fine AND I EVEN WOULD HAVE SAID SORRY! But a “hey buddy u gotta move!”. Well sorry i guess i wont be supporting the only american franchise around these parts anymore! Im sure the food is fine. Read moreWas there to get dinner with my fiance for a quick meal and we waited almost 15 minutes for service as they were filling online orders and talking amongst themselves when we finally got to order our food they barely listened even though there was only 3 of us in the store. Their tomatoes were white in the center and bland, the veggies (lettuce, spinach) were wilted and rubbery, our bread was hard and clearly old. For the $20 I paid for a footlong ham sandwich and 6 inch veggie sandwich it was horrible. I remember going there growing up and it was great. I wouldn't recommend anyone eat here as it clearly has no standards of quality even with the prices we pay. As for the service a man was in there who placed an online order and they told him 5 times while we were there that they never got it and that he didnt pay when he showed he did pay and showed them the receipt.
