I wouldn't say I had a bad experience here but there was for sure room for improvement. My friend and I both ordered smoothies, they were rewriting the flavor list so they had them down in a paper to the side. They seemed to have a good selection but no description as to what each flavor actually consisted of. When checking out I had shown her the yelp check in, she didn't seem to know what it was but tried to apply the discount. Instead of 20% off she did 20 cents off. No big deal I didn't say anything. After we put our order in we walked around and looked at some of the plants. After about 10 min we walked back in, our order still was not ready. We stood and waiting for a bit longer. After we received our smoothies she informed me something had happened with our transaction and she needed to run it again. This time she didnt add the 20% off and mentioned it again. This time we took 15 cents off. Still not right not the end of the world. The smoothie itself was okay, they did use real fruit which was nice to see but it needed a little more blending as it had some ice chunks. Overall it was an okay experience. It was very cute inside and the staff was nice, possibly needed a little...

I love coffee. I don’t mean a shot of espresso added to sugary flavored syrup. I mean black coffee, maybe with a bit of cream but nothing else. If you are reading this then I’ll bet you have a disdain for burnt corporate coffee, I know I do. I am also let down when I visit a small independent coffee shop just to find out that they are “proudly serving” someone else’s roast. I can assure you that this place is the real deal. Rich, flavorful coffee that is roasted onsite! My favorite is a Sumatra pour over, sometimes with a touch of oat milk added. Mmmm, perfection! Don’t get me wrong, you can order any drink you like, they serve them all and I am told they are all great. The point is that the foundation of their drinks (the beans) is solid. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and there is outdoor seating during the warmer months. Headed up to Hood for Mtn biking or snow riding? This is the place to get your pre/post trip java fix. Oh, and if you need to freshen up the landscaping around your home they can help you out...

We were heading back from visiting the Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood and decided to stop at Boring Coffee to support a local business. We followed the GPS directions and it took us to a garden center and a landscaping supply store. We were very confused and thought we entered the wrong address. We asked someone working at the garden center where is the boring coffee place. He said it was inside the garden shop. The garden shop has a nice variety of plants and flowers.

We walked inside and looked at the menu. Olivia and Marcell took care of our order. They were very friendly and welcoming! We ordered the Sun and Moon Mocha and a regular coffee. The coffees were very good !

Parking can be tricky here. Maybe for the tourists, have a sign hanging up so that they can...

Had a delicious huckleberry mocha on our way to Bend passing through the Mount Hood/Sandy area. Other than the fact that this place is surrounded by light industrial a.k.a. not so pretty places, and the parking isn’t marked which makes it a bit confusing, once you get inside it was wonderful! The barista was perky, friendly and helpful, and she made me a perfect to-order drink. He had a pastry with walnuts and brown sugar topping that was delicious, if not a bit too sweet. Other than them not having any gluten-free goodies, this place is awesome! If we had time we could’ve sat and enjoyed the beautiful gardens (in the photo).
