Country Coffee Sit & Sip — Restaurant in Sandy

I had been given two gift cards around the holidays and thought it was about time I used one of them. I went to Country Coffee Sit & Sip and worked my way through the line in the small lobby. I ordered a simple drink and then I was told I couldn't use the Country Coffee gift card."It is a Country Coffee gift card".... no, the card I had could onky be used at one of the CC drive-thru's but not there. She acknowledged it was a valid Country Coffee gift card, but they only honor the card if it says Sit & Sip on it. So I canceled my order & left. The couple behind me said to her, "That was rough, and you lost a customer. " I don't drive by or live near one of the drive-thru Country Coffee shops, so he was right.... I give 3 stars not because of the easy parking or decent atmosphere/service but I got sick in the stomach/vomiting after having thier avocado toast. Avocado didn't seem fresh but canned/cold and the fried egg was just pre-made reheated? I didn't know it was sourdough bread toast till it was brought to me which didn't taste good at all.. and hot chocolate was overly sweet. My advise to the ownership is use real fresh ingredients and actually fry fresh eggs made to order and give customers fresh bread options including fruits which didn't seem fresh but...
