Great place for authentic Mexican food! Stumbled upon this place and I’m glad I did. The restaurant was very clean and decorated with great attention to detail. The theme of “venados” (deer) is seen from the power outlet covers to the stylish neon sign. The interaction with staff was warm, kind and welcoming. The menu holds a variety of traditional Mexican dishes that are made from scratch. The salsa bar has many different salsas that are well labeled including descriptions of spice level. Our food came out relatively quickly, considering the amount of people that was ordering, they were very busy. My wife enjoyed her seafood soup that was fresh made with the biggest prawns I had ever seen. I enjoyed asada, lengua and tripa tostadas that were packed with tender meat and refreshing toppings. My daughter enjoyed a beautifully dressed chicken tamal. The drinks were the cherry on top. The horchata was clearly handmade, not made from powder, and the Mexican bottled squirt took me back to a long ago visit I had made to Guadalajara. Over all, whenever I am in the area this is the Mexican restaurant I will...

Friendly staff, very good food and awesome variety. It would be 5 stars but based on what happened to us on our visit, it almost fell to 3 stars. On Saturday 07/26, we stopped by to eat. Ordered chimichangas and a kids quesadilla. Out order took quite a while to get done and in the meantime, they ran out of rice. Nobody told us anything but we heard them talking to other customers. In the end, our plates all came without rice and nobody said anything. When we asked why, they just said they ran out. First, I feel that to run out of a main ingredient on Saturday at 6:30pm is a bit of lack of planning. Second, if that happens and you have orders taken, the least that could be done is to offer something else to make up for it. Maybe some chips, maybe some sour cream, maybe something else. Anyways, food was good, well seasoned, good portions. They just need to work on problem...

Delicious!!!! I went back for another try and it was excellente! Still Spendy but I Guess worth it. Scared to try a chili relleno again but maybe at some point. Great staff!

Very expensive!!! Very Americanized Mexican food, made especially for gringos who don’t know the real thing. Mole enchiladas were terrible, tasteless and unauthentic. Chili relleno was greasy, unappetizing and bland. Beans and rice and guacamole were good. Chicken taquitos were made with flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas, hardly any pico de gallo or guacamole, did not look like the photos. WHY are NO prices listed on their take out menu????? Not sure if I’ll be back, I may if I’m desperate. Staff was friendly and place is clean. But prices are ridiculous for...

We ordered a variety of things and everything was phenomenal. I ordered the shredded chicken enchiladas verdes and an horchata, my fiancé ordered the quesabirria plate and my cousin ordered a chorizo sope (not pictured) and beans along with an horchata. I am not exaggerating when I say, my fiancé, who is from the Bay Area said this was the best Mexican food he has had since moving 10 years ago. Everything was fresh, hot, smelled amazing, tasted even better. The staff was so kind and helpful. The inside was clean and welcoming. Salsa bar was clean and had so many options! A must stop if you love authentic Mexican food.

Clean, great service and amazing food! We ordered chicken tamale (see pic for masa to chicken ratio! I’ve never bought tamales with that great of a ratio) caldo de camarón (shrimp soup) and asada, lengua, tripa tostadas. The tostadas you can clearly taste the different meats and the fresh ingredients on top. The caldo de camarón they did not skimp on the shrimp! Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. The have breakfast, house made chorizo, chile rellenos, ceviche you name it! Plenty of parking and even a drive through for connivence! Don’t forget the horchata!
