I was super excited to have Indian food close by! We went, had a valid coupon until 3/15/2024 from the paper for $20 off of $100 purchase, score!
Sunday 3/10/2024 dinner around 4:15pm
Our bill was $111 for a fam of 4.
They did not honor it and said it was a misprint, and even had a flyer on the door showing a check mark to the coupon I had… फ़र्ज़ी बात Offered 5% discount instead… फ़र्ज़ी बात
Service was slow, Butter chicken was way too sweet and dry. Chicken vindaloo was good, however, chicken was not marinated like it should have been(garlic, wine and/or wine vinegar) but tender and good flavor. Ordered vindaloo hot and got medium.
Nann here is awesome, apps are equally authentic and flavorful. Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, and mango tikka masala were decent, but have had better.
Bottom line, it’s ok and fills a craving.
Biggest gripe: we spent 2 hours(not on our accord and wanted to leave way sooner) in your establishment, spent over $100 on your lack luster service(I got 8 oz of water the entire time) and you deny me the VALID $20 off $100 purchase coupon I have posted on your door(with a green check mark) and you say it was a printing error?! फ़र्ज़ी बात
Next time take care of your customers that are paying you $$$ and honor your coupons and don’t offer 5% when the misprint was fixed and reprinted!
I felt bad for the one young, tired, sad looking, unfriendly waiter, so I did tip 15%, but really wanted to tip at max 5% because of the coupon issue. फ़र्ज़ी बात
Hope they do well and will be back when I want Indian food and do not make it myself, but with being new on the mountain, I cannot provide more than “food was decent” as a final thought.
Worth it? Almost,...
Read moreAfter nearly 5 unacknowledged minutes standing inside the front door, we grabbed our own menus and waited to be seated.
It took a while to get our order in, and the guy was definitely working hard, but they really are shorthanded. Then again who isn't?
The food was delicious, the portions were good, and the prices were pretty reasonable. Best Naan I've ever had, too!
Overall, I'm happy, and I'll be back.
Update - march 2025 I've eaten here in house a couple more times, each time trying something new, and the food literally gets better and better. Service is fine (at best) but the food is truly great, probably the best Indian food I've had east of the Willamette.
We also pick up to go food to go at least once a month, as we head to Govy on weekends, but up until now ordering ahead has been hard. Either the phone doesn't get answered or the online purchasing doesn't work, but tonight we actually ordered online for the first time
Despite ordering Lamb Kahari (and paying extra for lamb) I got Chicken Kahari to go with our Butter Chicken. (Pictures added) Both were so delicious that I barely cared they screwed up. The food is really that good but they do need to pay attention to details, especially at the price. For $47 before tip they should at least read the order and get the...
Read moreFirst off, the chicken khorma—absolutely sensational! Packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, a real showstopper. The butter chicken? Executed brilliantly—creamy, rich, everything you’d want from a classic. The pakoras? Golden, crispy, absolutely divine. And that garlic cheese naan? Bloody hell, it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Truly exceptional!
But then… paper plates. Paper bloody plates! Are you joking? For paying customers? That’s an insult to the stunning food coming out of that kitchen. Eating such spectacular dishes off paper plates—it’s like serving a fine wine in a plastic cup. Unforgivable.
Now, I get it, you’re understaffed. But two hours before closing, and you’ve got empty tables piled with dirty plates? That’s just lazy management. The potential here is massive—your food deserves a standing ovation, but the service? A complete trainwreck.
Sort the staffing issues, invest in proper plates, and clean up your act—because right now, you’re wasting an opportunity to be brilliant. Three stars, and even that feels generous. Don’t...
