I think that the wait staff here were a wonderful group of people. It was only after our group had left that I realized why the wait staff was so incredibly good. The dinner that my daughter and I had ordered were different dishes, yet the only difference in her pulled pork tacos, and my carnitas was that her tacos were pre made and mine had some assembly required. Not a true problem there, but there is no amount of expertise staffing that could make up for the awful food that was served to the two of us. The pork, that was served, was just shy of cardboard, saved only by the flavor, which also needed some "Basic Beginner Cooking" help. It's just terribly sad that there are cooks out there, serving patrons a bold lie. The restaurant kitchen staffs that I have managed before would have been looking for a new place to work. Maybe after a "Run to the Border", they could have a job ringing "The Bell" and letting people know that "Yo Quiero, Yo Quiero", wouldn't pass any simplistic vote from me. I would advise anyone looking for a nice meal, offering a good representation of our good neighbors to the south, get some store bought ingredients to prepare meals yourself, or maybe it's a perfect time for a fine Margarita teamed with a real Mexican inspired meal. Think twice before giving El Burro Loco a try for...

Waiter didn’t really listen to what was being said. I asked if he’d recommend wild boar tacos or the Al pastor he was nice to tell me they were different in the fact one was sweet and one was savory. I said okay I’ve had “Al pastor before at other restaurants so I’ll try the boar” he then let me know what boar was as if I had never heard it and went on and on about what it was. I asked for corn tortillas with it and was given flour, no cheese like it said. The price on the menu was different than what we were charged. The tacos were SO dry… like the Sahara dessert dry. The chips were stale and it looked like we got the end of the bag as they weren’t even large enough to put salsa on. It was 1.5 hours before closing so maybe at the end of the day they just don’t really care? I’d give them a chance again during earlier business hours but I will say my first experience was nothing impressive. Also the menu online is way more extensive then what they offer in the restaurant and their drinks are crazy expensive almost more expensive then their meals. We were never checked on to see if we needed anything or how everything tasted which was a bit of a bummer as they...

The Burro is BACK and better than ever. The menu has changed but the quality of the dishes might even be a little better than before. I had a shrimp quesadilla and the shrimp were definitely wood fire grilled and absolutely delicious. My husband's margarita was just the way he likes them, and do not miss the habenero crema on your food. They call it their hottest sauce, but it wasn't overwhelming at all (I confess I like extra spicy). The sauce was just hot enough to give the food a kick and let the delicious flavour of these special peppers shine through. My guess is the cook takes the trouble to carefully seed the peppers before incorporating them with the other ingredients, but who knows? I didn't get the recipe (darn!), but I did get a nice sized complimentary container to take some home since I liked it so much. It was a thoughtful gesture, on the house😁 No desserts yet, but that's next now that the food and drinks are on point. As always, the ambience on one side is sports bar, on the other side of the bar is casual dining, quiet and more intimate, outdoors is a small patio for nice weather. Welcome back to the Mountain 🏔️,...

The salsa was uniquely prepared-the tomatoes were torn by hand, not chopped up. The flavor was excellent, and not too spicy. Really delicious. The rice was moist and flavorful, and the black beans were perfectly done. They were the perfect accompaniment to the vegetable fajitas that I ordered. The service was excellent. We were greeted at the door by the new owner and the wait staff, and we were served promptly and efficiently. We had the good fortune to speak with the new owner after dinner. He is working hard to make this restaurant a success. He’s doing a great job! Maybe the best part of our experience at El Burro Loco was that it was open on Sunday evening for dinner when most other restaurants are closed. That's great for the locals.

Delicious food, friendly owner! We had the queso birria, asada and al pastor tacos. Highly recommend all 3! The salsa was excellent also. They are in the process of getting their liquor license and if the non-alcoholic cucumber jalapeño “margarita” we had is any indication of what the margaritas will be like, they will be very tasty!

Best Mexican food I've tried in all the USA. Their food was so tasty so I decided to dinner there everyday on my vacations. The new owner Mr. José Arana "Don Chon" and his wife are awesome persons and they are wonderful cooking. Best Birria and Carnitas in the whole country. If you like Real Mexican Food, that is the place.
