Camp House Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Sanford

Average grill/bar. I needed a quick bite. Stopped here. Server was nice. Food was Average. I've had the same food at other places. There's isn't anything unique about this place. I sat outside. I had thespecial with fries, which are frozen not made in house, and with green beans which are identical t every bbq place I've eaten at.

The young waitress with the too-tight jeans and half cut shirt (looked sloppy not sexy) kept calling me "love" for some reason.....no, she wasn't British. Reviews for this place (which I didn't check first) kept calling out he waitresses for their friendliness and flirtyness. I didn't see that (although I was just there for a quick bite). My waitress was ok, but not anything more than just a kind waitress.

Seating inside is bench style with many people at the same table. There's also a bar. I sat outside to be away from people and sit in the warm sun.

Not a bad place for a bite but it's not...

The worst! When I called for a takeout order of wings, I explained that this was my first time ordering from them and I ordered two orders of 10 piece wings with two different flavors; they combined the two flavors on all 20 wings. I like hot and spicy but my husband can’t eat hot food so I had ordered garlic Parmesan for him. We ended up with 20 wings spicy hot with Parmesan sprinkled on them. After we discovered the error when my husband came home with the order I called the restaurant and told the gal who took my order what happened. She said to me that she would check on what happened in the kitchen and call me back. She NEVER CALLED US BACK! Meanwhile even the spicy wings were horrible! The wing skin wasn’t crisp; instead mushy and fatty. The worst quality of wings we have ever had. My husband couldn’t eat them because they were hot so we threw out $38+ down the toilet! Will never order...

Service was slow. It took the longest time just to get a house salad. Then my food came out before I was done with that. I got the tenders because I wasn't really hungry. I was with my family. They were hungry. When I got my meal I noticed that the dipping sauce was very runny. Almost like milk. The food was fine. My so in law got the wings. They were like any other place has. They compt us a dessert for the sauce being nasty. We thanked them. Still it wasn't a really great meal. A burger, chicken tacos and tenders came to almost $40. This is supposed to be a family friendly place, but my daughter had to take the baby out to the car to change. There is no place to change a baby. Unless you like the idea of putting your baby on the floor. If all you want is fried food and beer, this is your place. Personally I don't think we will be back. I gave it 3 stars because the...
