Jack's Hometown Pizza — Restaurant in Sanford

I gave it THREE MORE TRIES after I made my five star review. But unfortunately I have to remove my review. The last three orders were maybe HALF the size (stuffing wise) of my prior orders. I was really hoping it was just a new person workingg and learning, but these last three orders were made in late February, March and now April, so consistently over the last three months.

Calzones don't just come with cheese anymore, you have to pay extra for it (unless they just forgot the cheese on mine every single time?)

Way too much bread and have skimped the toppings. For example in a full calzone there was a total of 7 small pieces of pepperoni, not even full pieces, some were cut in half. I HAVE TO SAY THAT HOMETOWN USED TO BE MY FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE IN SANFORD, MI BUT NOW UNDER NEW OWNER I GOT 3 ROLL ZONES FROM THERE AND CINNASTICKS AND ASKED THEM TO PULL THE ROLL ZONES OUT EARLY DUE TO BURNING IN THE PAST AND THEY SAID NO PROBLEM WHEN MY DAUGHTER BROUGHT THEM HOME THEY WERE BURNT BLACK AND THE CINNA STICKS HAD NOTHING ON THEM DRY THIS WAS AT 9PM WHEN I GOT THEM ALSO 3 RANCH I WAS CHARGED FOR AND DIDN'T GET. SO CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND WAS TOLD THE OWNER WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT ME BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T KNOW HIS POLICY SO IT HAS BEEN 3TIMES I HAVE LEFT A MESSAGE FOR HIM TO CALL ME AND NO CALL. BAD OWNERSHIP I SHOULD HAVE GOT EITHER NEW FOOD OR MY 30.00 DOLLARS BACK. I WILL NEVER GO TO HOMETOWN...

The pizza wasn't my thing. It was a Supreme pizza the sausage wasn't sausage at all it was like imitation sausage very weird tasting and shaped. It was pretty bland tasting pizza for a Supreme was disappointed. The breadstick with jalapeños was fine but was hoping they would have cooked them on but it was OK. The steak and cheese sub was hands down my favorite item from there. The staff was friendly. As I always say try them first don't always take the review of someone else.
