Number One China — Restaurant in Sanford

I've ate places like this my whole life in North Carolina...usually beside a Food Lion like this one. I ordered nearly $30 worth of food here the first time. I ordered in the restaurant and everything was ready in the standard 10 minutes. Chicken wings, sesame chicken, mei fun noodles, etc. I'm so excited to get everything home and eat. Unfortunately, everything was terrible. The rice was overcooked. The eggs rolls were mushy! The sesame chicken was so soggy. The chicken wings were fried way too hard. The noodles and NO flavor at all. I was so disappointed that every dish we ordered was TERRIBLE. I will never in my life stop here again. I usually give a restaurant at least 2 chances but no...

Got the scallops with shrimp fried rice , and it was nasty. I’m not sure what kind of cooks he’s been having back there lately but it ain’t hitting like it use to. How you not cook the shrimp fried rice right, that’s like the easiest damn dish ? 🤨 The owner needs to get back in there and start helping them cooks cause it’s definitely a struggle going on, and it will cost business if it continues on. TERRIBLE!!! Ever since they changed up the staff, they always forget something in our order! Nowadays you don’t even get a fortune cookie in your order! Or egg noodles! Spent $50 last night and didn’t even get rice with my Pepper Steak! They asked if I wanted to come back. I told them no. I’m at least 15 minutes away, which would be at least 1/2 hour total drive time! As everyone knows gas isn’t cheap anymore and on top of it, I had my family over last night. Was very embarrassed about quality of food here in Sanford but always bragged about them!...
