There is no such thing as bad food or good food. It's all about one's personal preference over taste, texture, smell, and freshness of ingredients.

The lady that took our order was very attentive and friendly.

Notes on the food I tasted or at least smelled: Moo shoo stir fry sauce is dominated with hoisin sauce on the saltier side. Do not expect fresh made wrappers here. They use the frozen egg roll wrappers available at the Asian markets.

Egg drop soup with wontons: It's the thickest egg drop soup I have seen with so much corn starch added to thicken up the soup. The wonton skin is the super thick wrapper kind.

The fried PuPu platter: -My favorite is the chicken on the stick. That's the only good item that caught my interest and find it worth it money. They battered fried strip of dark meat chicken with a thin crispy battered texture with a hint of chewiness of tapioca flour or cornstarch flour, definately not wheat flour. My daughter likes the chicken wings. Ribs did not taste fresh, but rather dry and old. The other fried food went into the trash bin.

Shanghai used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. I still order from them and their food is decent, but one thing that I will say is the crispy noodles that they give you for the soup are always stale. The food prices went up, which I totally understand and the combination plates no longer come with soup, which is also fine, but they can at least make sure that they are giving people fresh noodles, and of course fresh food. The cashier talked down to my mother after she asked for an eggroll that was supposed to come with the order, she didn't even give us the drinks we were supposed to get with our order as she tried to charge us for the drinks midway, I got furious at this behavior and the attitude with their behavior as my mom looked at me confused as to why the lazy raised her voice at my mother, terrible people and terrible service!!!
