Let me start by saying this hotel is by far one of the worst Hampton Inn’s I’ve ever visited. I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE! I have over 26 million views so people value my opinion on the places I write reviews about and this hotel Hampton Inn & Suite in Lake Mary FL get a ZERO FOR ALL SERVICES! So let’s get into it 🛑I did not receive room service for 5 day!! Yes 5 days!!! Every day I went to the front desk asking for someone to clean my room and asking for clean towels and wash clothes for my room, I received nothing. So on the 3rd day of not getting any clean linen or any cleaning to my room I spoke to the General Manager Karla Acosta about the issue and was told “Since im under the team member rate I should know that rooms do not get cleaned every day and since house keeping is gone I need to come to the front desk and get clean towels and wash clothes… (ON DAY 3)” She is very rude, disrespectful and very unprofessional. It doesn’t matter if I’m under team members rates or not I’m still a paying customer and a guest and should not get treated with such disrespect. I asked to speak to the General manager Robert Knauff about the matter and as you already know I NEVER SEEN HIM(day 5) !!!! I called his number and the front desk picked up🤦🏾♀️..NOTHING WAS DONE!!! No resolution was meant about this matter. THE HOTEL LOOK AS NASTY AS MANAGEMENT ATTITUDE DIRTY,DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE! And YES I told the front desk person and I also spoke to Karla about this but as you will see in the pictures nothing was cleaned. Now let’s talk about the condition of the hotel. Just like my room the hotel itself is nasty! The elevator has dog feces and nope NO ONE CLEANED IT UP! The elevator never been mopped. The walls never been cleaned off the ground on the elevator is cracking away. The tiles are chipping off on the elevator as you step in. The lobby is nasty and dirty. The pink sugar paper pack with poured out sugar has been in the same spot on the lobby floor for 5 days. The papers on the floor of the elevator been there for 5 days the dog feces been on the elevator floor for two days and NO ONE HAS MOPPED IT UP.THE FLOOR OF THE ROOM I WAS IN SMELLED LIKE DOG DUMPED BECAUSE SOMEONE STEPPED IN IT ON THE ELEVATOR! Look at the pictures the maintenance man was pointing out the dog feces on the elevator. The hallways are also nasty and dirty. Nothing is clean in this hotel. I don’t have a clue where the house keepers are and the way the hotel is being maintained and managed I see why it’s so filthy. The free breakfast was ok 🤷🏽♀️As yall know I travel all year long and I always write true reviews about the places I visit. This Hampton Inn is a NO GO! Everyone was complaining about how dirty the hotel is and how they stop breakfast a hour early. The only place that was clean in the hotel was the parking lot. The outside sitting areas have cigarette butts all over the place. I hope that GM Robert find this review and contact me about this matter because as you already know Karla did not handle, help or assist in helping with any of the matters that was addressed to her. She clocked out and went home and didn’t care about anything concerning this hotel. Please feel free to look at the pictures because yall know I keep receipts about everything I post! Read moreNice place to stay on our 4 day business trip. Only disappointment was that the hot tub was broken. We had been really looking forward to that after a 2 day, 26 hour driving trip. Room was clean, no bugs, no hair in sink, tub or bed. Loved the bathroom wallpaper and floating shelves. Sink drain's chrome ring was missing half. Sometimes toilet didn't flush paper down, it would be a very light pressure flush, like it didn't have enough energy to do it, lol! Loved the towel hooks in bathroom AND on wall in hall area, also the metal basket bins were cool. Coffee maker worked great and was clean. Tv worked good. Shower had adequate pressure. Beds, again, were clean, neat, comfiness about a 6. Could use a pillow or foam topper but over all it was decent. My room mate said her's was very comfy. Maybe mine just needs flipping? Is that still a thing? Microwave worked and was clean, as did fridge though I feel it could have been a bit colder. Also, WHY do hotels no longer have the mini freezers in the fridge? Some, when traveling need to use mini ice packs/pouches for medicine. When you get to a hotel, you hope to refreeze them to use again for return trip home. Let me tell ya, some meds you can't just lay in ice cubes, which melts into water and can cause damage. Please bring back the mini freezer/fridge combos. Black out shade was great! Nice desk area for doing work, unless you're me, I just lounge in the bed. Breakfast was good but I am praying that tomorrow morning, my last day, has some bacon! It's been twice turkey sausage links, and once turkey sliced ring bologna type meat. Scrambled and hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, regular waffles daily, then strawberry once, and today was cinnamon. I had to try it, it was good. They also had toppings like sprinkles, chocolate chips, whipped cream, chocolate, raspberry and caramel sauces and of course "syrup". Bread, bagels, pastries, muffins, oranges, coffee, tea, apple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, water. I want to say they also had instant oatmeal but I can't be 100%. I'll try to look again in morning and update, lol!! I do wish hotels would post at 4pm check in time, what the next mornings breakfast Proteins would be, or what ever menu items they serve, that swap out. I love how Drury Inn has their whole weekly schedule posted on their website. Also would be nice if breakfast went to at least 9:30. When you're up late working, sometimes it's hard to be up and presentable to ppl and then still have time to eat before 9am cutoff. Pretty quiet, don't hear much noise coming from outside room. House keeping was very nice about giving us extra clean towels, as well as packets of coffee daily, and providing us with shampoo and conditioner because somehow, 2 ladies BOTH forgot to pack theirs! Would definitely stay here again, and I recommend. I'd give 5 stars all around but we all know everyone and everything can also continue to improve! And, If you're into DISC personalities, I'm clearly a very high C If you read this all, you probably are...
Read moreUpdate: After checking out and that weird first night, the rest of the stay was pleasant. Again, the staff was very nice and it was nice to be able to go to the pool. The location is very convenient and would definitely come back with hopes the house keeping is better.
I’m currently still staying and will update when I leave but I wanted to make sure for anyone traveling that they see a honest and real time review.
For over $100 a night, I expected the room to be clean and the overall experience to be enjoyable. My husband, our 1 year old child, and I have drove down from NY to attend a wedding and this location was in the perfect spot. It wasn’t a dump like a previous option so I was excited. I have travelled for work for multiple occasions and my company prefers Hilton hotels so I’m aware of the standards.
Our first room had hair all over the place. In the shower drain, the pillow sheets, the carpet (balls of hair) and also on the sheets there were little black pieces of something, I had wiped off the mattress before i got better pictures of it and the sink and fridge were broken. I was willing to overlook the hair but when it was time to put our child to bed, I pulled the comforter back and there was a red stain on it. I called the front desk and the woman got us replacement sheets so I can change myself. When I pulled the sheets back to change them, I saw the mattress had a huge dark red stain on the corner and I was disgusted. Before I had a chance to call, there was slamming at the door and my husband went out to check it out to see that some teenage boys were playing a stupid prank. Now had my child had been asleep, we would’ve had a severe problem. Understandably it’s not the hotel’s fault but parents need to keep an eye on their children. As for the room, the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and got us a new room BUT the bathroom was disgusting. It’s not that hard to clean the bathroom.. I hate complaining and I truly hate making someone’s job harder so I ordered some cleaning supplies and cleaned myself so we can shower in peace.
I’m leaving this review so the company can address the housekeeping in this location. It’s a hotel, I don’t expect them to bend backwards but like I said for 100+ a night, it should at least be surfaced cleaned properly.
Other than that so far the...
