If you're looking for a cozy spot to grab a bite and a cup of coffee, look no further than the Daily Grind. This fun coffee shop offers a variety of tasty options to satisfy your cravings.
One of my favorite dishes is the bacon burrito, which is filled with savory bacon, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese. It's the perfect breakfast option to start your day off on the right foot.
Their scones are also a must-try. These tasty treats come in a variety of flavors, and they are all delicious. They pair perfectly with a hot cup of coffee or tea.
But the real star of the show is the El Primo sandwich. Loaded with tender roast beef, sautéed onions, and bell peppers, and topped with spicy mayo, this sandwich is a flavor explosion.
Overall, the Daily Grind is a great spot to grab a quick bite or catch up with friends. Their menu has something for everyone, and the cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
They also have salads, smoothies, and organic juices.
I was there today and went for the El Primo sandwich paired with a Peachy King smoothie. Best decision...
Read moreI really wanted to enjoy this place because it has a lovely outdoor patio, and it's so close to our home. However, their food always disappoints, service is never friendly, and they don't allow well-behaved, leashed dogs inside even if we just want to order and sit outside. This means we need an extra person to look after our dog outside, or we can't bring our dog if we're alone. The staff is always too busy to remember or care about their customers, and new workers take up to 10 minutes just to ring up orders, and often mess them up. I've never had a pleasant exchange with anyone behind the counter, and they don't even remember us after we've been there 10-15 times. My husband and I have decided that this place is not the neighborhood coffee shop vibe we're looking for. We recommend Handle Bar for better food and beverages, Live Oak Cafe for its proximity, and of course, there are many other coffee shops on State Street that allow well-behaved dogs on a leash inside. All of this is under the assumption that your dog, like ours, is...
Read moreAlways a decent spot. What happened to the electrical plugs along the main wall? Are they following the handlebar trend where they don't want people working on laptops there? I hope that's not the case because they don't have very good coffee nor ambiance. Good baristas help ! But everything is pretty solid across the board. The outdoor patio is nice. One of the best things is their big parking lot and the additional parking in the back up de la vina.
-UPDATE -
They recently did a menu remodel....out with the static signs, in with the the multiple LCDs....good news, much better aesthetic and modern look....bad news, they raised their prices on lattes by $0.50....they are started charging for plastic cups...$0.35..(this has forced me to start bringing me own cup....forced to be greener or is it a business model adjustment?) .they are still cheaper then places like Handlebar, but this place does not compare in terms of decor and scenery.....still worth it? i think so, price increase was long overdue, but somewhat...
