KFC — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

We had a really nice experience at the KFC in Santa Barbara. Right off the bat, the owner or manager came out to bring our food to the table himself. He did not need to bring to the table for a fast food store. That personal touch is not something you see a lot these days, and it made the whole meal feel more welcoming.

Feeding a family of six can be pricey, especially in Santa Barbara. So finding a place where we could all sit down, enjoy a hot meal, and stay on budget? That was a win. The food was tasty, the portions were solid, and everyone walked out full.

Small spot, and seating tight when it’s busy, but it still felt cozy. We managed to grab a table and have a proper family meal together, which was a nice break during a long travel day.

Parking was snug, but I squeezed our Suburban in just fine. The building’s older, but that’s pretty normal for this area. The restroom was clean, which any parent knows is a small miracle when you’ve got four kids in tow.

The extra crispy chicken was just right, hot, crunchy, full of flavor, and not overly greasy. Classic KFC done right. Good meal with great service and real value for families. We’ll definitely swing by again next time...

Nice location, very nice employees! The young man who was new, was very polite, professional. The manager was working very hard hovering over the new guy training him, cooking, packing up orders, taking care of the guests, (butter, salt, pepper and other things). I have to say this for honesty...... It was nice to go in there and spend $20.00 without being rushed!!!!..... example my husband and I tried the pot pie, and a few other item's that we wouldn't have not ordered had the new employee and manager encourage us to try!! I actually liked the Chicken Pot Pie! We tried the mac & cheese it was pretty good. On Monday night my Husband and I have date night. We go to KFC and rake it to the beach to eat. My favorite part of the week! Now the KFC here on Milpas in Santa Barbara is far better than the KFC in Paso Robles!!!!...... Paso KFC changed their recipe or something plus they run out of Chicken. Idgaf about kfc but I do doordash and this place always makes me fill up the sodas. I'm sanitary compared to the average person but the average door dash driver may or may not be downright gross. They should not be handling drink lids or unsealed sodas with their booger and/or feces covered fingers. And God know what fluids are spewing from their mouthbreathing faceholes. I really can't recommend getting a delivery from this place because of this. Your driver is gross enough, you don't want them touching that darn lid. You KNOW they're gonna touch the bottom of it. They definitely shouldn't touch the straw either so it's good they put that in the bag at least. That's science folks. Don't order here online until they fix this.
