JX Cuisine — Restaurant in Santa Clara

This place is really good. A few things to make the experience great. In Chinese restaurants, it is customary to signal to the staff when you are ready to order or need anything. They don't come around every 5 minutes as they don't want to bother you.

If you like spicy food, get the Beef in Spicy Sauce. It is a Szechuan staple, and one of my favorite foods ever.

Also, this place has Gold and Silver Sweet Buns which I have never seen in a Chinese restaurant in the U.S. (I haven't been to them all by any means, but I have been to Chinese restaurants in every major city that I have visited including San Francisco and New York). They are a nice little sweet treat with condensed milk as a dipping sauce that is recommended.

Do you like uncooked pork? What about terrible customer service? If you, for some reason, like these things, then order from JX Cuisine, where I had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had.

I ordered from JX Cuisine (through Grubhub) based on the generally positive reviews. Much to my dismay, when I bit into my pork pot sticker, I found squishy, cold, uncooked pork inside (the picture below is of this uncooked pork).

I called the restaurant and explained that I would like a refund. They told me that I would have to contact Grubhub.

So I contacted Grubhub. And Grubhub told me that they only process the payments and can't issue refunds.

So I contacted JX Cuisine AGAIN. And they outright refused to give me a refund.

Bad cooking. Bad customer service. Avoid...

Line cutters make picking up food here very aggravating. While this is not 100% the restaurant’s fault, but they should know about this and attempt to regulate.

During busy hours, especially Christmas and New Year, there were very long lines. Everyone was waiting patiently in line to pick up our food. Then there were quite a few who decidedly just cut in line ahead of people who waited 10-15 minutes all because they felt they did not need to wait. “My pick up is at 6:15pm”. Yes, and mine at 6:05pm. But she insisted she had to get her food on time.

The staff did not care how people get to the door and will reward the line cutters. This happened to me 3 times. Next time I will not order from this...
