The price of produce and sashimi grade sushi is reasonable which is why I come several times a month when craving sushi dinner. However, this last time we had an older, Hispanic male cashier who double charged us for salmon roe. When we pointed out his mistake, the store took over 10-15 minutes to go through surveillance to verify if we were double charged. This would be understandable if it’s their procedure, but at least apologize once you confirmed it’s your staff’s fault.
So after the older Korean man confirmed through surveillance they did double charge us, he gave the receipt back to the rude Hispanic cashier who refunded us. -I remember when Super Kyo-po was located on El Camino next to my uncle's sushi spot, then they relocated to this BIGGER location +/- 10 years ago. -They always have fresh veggies and import Korean grapes, melons & pears. -The meat/seafood section is slightly lacking, but they offer a large selection of Korean ingredients (i.e. gochujang, sesame seed oil, soy sauce, etc...) to get your chef on in the kitchen. -They also have a great selection of banchan, seaweed, noodles and rice (neatly stacked up front). -Another plus is their kitchen offerings. -Fresh jokbal simmering and ready to-go, to visually wrapped mackerel, honey/red pepper chicken wings and japchae is all available to purchase.
Overall, support this local grocery store an original business of Silicon...

Since I don't speak Korean & most of the employees don't or seem to not speak English, i tend to rely on certain fellow shoppers walking by to get recommendations or help finding certain items. I do believe that this & other Korean markets are a bit overpriced on a lot of the products sold there & they should have at least one to two full-time translators available for the few that can't speak their beautiful language to communicate a...
