For the travelers coming in, this is a place to skip. You can have great pizza and better customer service anywhere. There ia no direction when you walk in accept ro seat yourself. We had to wait for a table to be thru with their menu in orser to view our choices. Then you wait because no one knows you have to go to the back to order. When you approach the counter, and mention these concerns, you are greeted with snarl. So professional from the dark haired manager girl. We ordered a thin crust supreme, 2 chef salads, and a burger w/fries. All on one ticket. After 28 mins we checked on our order. Still cooking. It's a small place so there's about 10 families here. It's been an hour now. We ask again. 5 mins later our Supreme arrives. They had no idea what table it went to. Lol They literally ask table to table who ordered this. My daughter is still waiting on a burger and fries. It's been 1hr 13mins. I ask the waitress at the counter where the salads and burger and fries are. She goes to the back and comes out to tell me they are making it now. NOW? Did you think we were eating separately on one ticket? Ok, I'm baffled by the lack of common sense. I ask for a manager, the waitress swings open the door to the back and the girl behind the door says she's the manager. I'm frustrated at the ignorance of this place,(we are not in the south). She tells me they are putting the burger on the grill now. NOW?! An hour and 15min later. I asked about the salads and the manager says, You wanted the salads first? What?! Yes, we did. The manager tells me that food is made, not by the ticket order but by the food type. Pizzas are made first. Pizzas were being served after the first hour but the other tables, like ours, were waiting for their kids food. The pizza was not up tp par. It was very plain for taste, there was no sauce, and it was layered. Crust, vege/meat (sparsely), and cheese cross the top like a pie without flavor. The staff needs training in professional customer courtesy, customer directives, and food service taste & sanitation. Wouldn't hurt for the health inspector to do a surprise visit..It was an experience but not one I would take my family too again. We were given a refund and asked to leave after my few choice words. There is another pizza and more place not far that is definitely...
Read moreHad the pleasure of trying the new restaurant. It has a very similar setup to Frosty's.
Food: We had the spicy cheese bites, pizza, chicken tenders and smash burger. The spicy cheese bites were awesome as was the smash burger. The pizza was OK, just a little bland and needs some more spice to flavor it up. The chicken tenders were pretty basic. The BBQ sauce tastes like a cheap sauce from the bottle. Waffle fries were seasoned and ok as well but seemed like they were frozen. Not sure much was house made besides the smash burger.
Service: Staff was very polite. It was counter service so you order at the counter and get your own drinks. Seemed to push tipping a lot but there aren't isn't any wait staff. There is a bucket and also a credit card option. Condiments are not readily available and ketchup is given in small containers.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is just like Frosty's was. I'm not sure much has changed besides the name. It has a diner look inside except for 1 high-top table that is wooden and looks out of place. The tables and floors appeared clean. We didn't use the bathroom.
Overall, we will definitely be back. Food was hit and miss but I think it could be great if they house made several items or used some higher quality ingredients such as the BBQ sauce and pickles. Really hope they add themselves to the...
Read moreFat Santa's: A Festive Flop! Let me preface this by saying I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at Fat Santa's was so spectacularly awful, it demands documentation. I ventured in hoping for a classic diner experience, perhaps a comforting slice of pizza. What I received was a masterclass in how to ruin a meal. First, the pizza. "Mediocre" is being generous. The crust tasted like cardboard, the sauce was bland, and the toppings were sparse and clearly low-quality. It was the kind of pizza that makes you question your life choices. Second, the customer service was nonexistent. The staff seemed more interested in their phones than thier patrons, But the absolute worst part? While I was attempting to choke down my disappointing pizza, the staff decided it would be a brilliant idea to blast The Conjuring on a massive 70-inch TV in the lobby. Yes, you read that right. A horror movie. During lunchtime. The sudden jump scares and demonic imagery completely ruined any semblance of a pleasant dining atmosphere. I understand wanting to entertain yourselves, but subjecting paying customers to a horror film while they eat is beyond unprofessional. Fat Santa's is a complete and utter disaster. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy terrible food, atrocious service, and being terrorized by jump scares...
