Holiday fun even while grocery shopping!
While on our anniversary trip, we made a stop in Santa Claus, In to take in all the places that were everything Christmas. The Holiday Foods Grocery Store did not disappoint!
From the second you walked in the door, you had a Christmas tree and stockings with all the workers names. Each department has a red and green title with holly decals. Does it end there? Not a chance! Not only do they have Christmas lights dangling and vintage Christmas decor along with numerous Santas, they sell Christmas items as well!
Santas, lawn candy canes, tumblers and more!
Such a fun place and for the locals, their ordinary grocery store to do their weekly shopping.
Old time feel of an original grocery store. Fun interior decor. Offers a variety of holiday foods. Very good prices and service. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

Read moreWent there to pick up some stuff we needed while in town for a softball tourny. YES their prices are higher than what you might pay at your local Wallyworld. BUT it's 5 minutes from where we stayed. The next closest Wallyworld was 30 minutes. My time is worth something.
You pay more for stuff at the gas station than big stores.... its convenience. It wasn't outrageous but it was definitely higher than what I was used to paying. Thing is... they had EVERYTHING I needed.
I went back again to get stuff for smores too. If you spend $100 on groceries at Wallyworld I would guess the same stuff here would be $110-115...

You jam your cart into this tiny space near where the cashier stands. Just weird, unlike any grocery store I've ever been to.
