My boyfriend and I are currently soaking up the sun on our vacation in Santa Cruz, and one of our main goals has been to find some outstanding Mexican food. After some research and a few recommendations from locals, we stumbled upon a fantastic restaurant that truly exceeded our expectations. The moment we walked in, the vibrant decor and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home.
We ordered chicken and steak tacos and each one was absolutely delicious. The tacos were peperfectly seasoned. Every bite was a delight, and we found ourselves savoring each dish long after the plates were cleared.
The service was exceptional as well; our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us choose the best items to try. We truly appreciated the welcoming vibe created by the staff. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our dining experience, and we have already decided that this will be our go-to spot the next time we’re in town. Thank you for your...
Read moreAlright so I hate to write a bad review, but my experience is hard to overlook. My boyfriend and I would frequent this place usually about once a week. The food has always been good, prices typical of the location and food items themselves. The staff is always friendly and the dining area seemed clean. Like a whole pebble, hard as a rock, thank god he did not bite down onto it, but imagine if he had!! I tried smashing it with a heavy pan to make sure it was actually a rock and not some calcified object, but it was hard as a rock. It sucks because we know this is a small business, but on the other hand, he could have broken a tooth 😭. The pebble in question and a...
Read moreI ordered the quesabirrias from doordash and I didn't care for it at all. They were just meat and cheese. No onions and cilantro. Barely any cheese but a lot of thick pieces of beef. I really couldn't taste anything but the beef! The beef was super bland like it was just cooked in a crockpot with little seasoning. It was very tender though. Literally like a pot roast my dad would make for dinner. The consume was very one note. A bit sweet, no acid no spice. I got it with medium red chile and spicy green chile salsa. Preferred the red it had more acidity. I used all six lime wedges I ordered but it didn't add much. The tortillas were super soggy by the time the food came and it took only 12 minutes to come. Overall I'm not impressed and won't...
