Dre Days Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Santa Fe

The decor is nicely done and very thoughtful. I especially like the epoxy beachscapes at the counter and around the dining room.

We just got back from a lazy Sunday visit where we were the only customers in line (a family did come in while we were waiting though) - so not busy at all. But our order was very badly messed up, and seeing as they specialize in only one product, I won't be coming back.

We ordered a large with flavor A with sprinkles and ice cream, and a small with flavor B with ice cream. What we got was a large with flavor B with no sprinkles or ice cream, and a small with flavor A with ice cream on the very bottom - also no sprinkles.

Half the contents of both was unflavored shaved ice, which I used to water a bush on Center Drive. That's when I found the ice cream in the small!

The top dome of the shaved ices were quite good though, since that's where literally all the syrup was.

I'm all for supporting and being respectful of local businesses - I even straightened out the business and restaurant licenses near the door that had gone crooked as they hung on the wall as we were waiting. But I don't feel like that respect was...

The shaved ice is the perfect consistency. It’s not like chunks of ice like a snow cone. Instead it’s very finely shaved that makes it a really smooth consistency. I had banana and cotton candy regular. My husband had chocolate and blackberry Tsunami style with mango juice...

The closest thing to shave ice outside of Hawaii, I have found! Tons of flavors and friendly staff. The only downside is you have to look for it to find it. But...
