GENOVEVA CHAVEZ SKATE PARK — Attraction in Santa Fe

10 pounds of skatepark in a 5 pound bag.

This place is kind of a mess, design wise, best guess is they cut the funding after receiving the design and told the builders to go ahead and cram all the elements from the plans into half the space or less so it ends up tight, cramped and not suited to having more than 2, maybe 3 people skating at a time in the street section.

Typical park shortfalls of being geared to the top 20% of skaters and very little geared to newer or less skilled people. Could still be great if they added on to the north side and threw a bone to the kids, new riders and...

Great skatepark, would give 5 stars but because it is on the small size, it can get too crowded quickly. But it has a great bowl and a lot of fun obstacles for beginners and...

I like this skate park better than the others...
