I just came out of this restaurant after eating a terrible buffet. The reviews were all deceiving. First of all the food was absolutely tasteless and blend. Not sure what they were trying to make as all their items taste exactly the same. Being a Tibetan place, I had a high hope on the momos/dumplings. However, it was disappointing. Even the atmosphere was dull. On top of that to my surprise this guys charged me 50% for my 2 years old who was just accompanying us in the buffet. Not only that, they charged full for my 6 years old. Owners : if you are reading this, kids under 4 eats free in the buffet and for 4-10 most restaurants charges 50%, NOT full. That’s the common rule as kids in this age group can hardly eat anything. Most importantly if the food was good I would have no problem paying you extra and consider that as a tip, but for this quality food, I would not. Anyways, the host/server seems like a descent person and I guess only following the rules set by the owner. All in all, I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone who is hoping to try some good food and most importantly good time. Got to be my worst experience...

The food was so good!

As per someone else's review, I tried the veg momo's and spicy potatoes. I gave 4 stars, cause the sauce for the Momo's was too spicy. I asked them to make the potatoes not too spicy and it's perfect, but the dipping sauce, tho yummy is too spicy for me. It's a good thing the Momo's are good on their own, plus I ate it with the potatoes. Other reason I gave only 4 stars, they didn't tell me the potatoes didn't come with rice or bread. I would have ordered some. Iced chai is pretty tasty too.

Love that I'm walking distance from the restaurant rn, wish I'd gone the first week I was here. Sad that IwI be walking distance anymore, and even more sad when I go back home to Michigan. There's a restaurant in Ann Arbor that serves Tibetan food, but that's an hour south of where I...

It was okay ish for the price. The menu looked great and I was so excited to try this food. When it came out it was really kinda flavorless and bland. I ordered the veggie soup and it came almost gelatinous (which is fine- like egg drop soup base) but it was like drinking thick salty water and the vegetables weren’t really there. Just a few cauliflower crumbs and like four pieces of spinach. The fried rice was probably the best thing I ordered, and that was like a 6/10. The basmati rice came way over cooked and soft. It was like biting into soft grits. All in all it wasn’t that bad for the price but had I paid any more these three stars would quickly turn into...

Tibet Kitchen is a hidden gem that truly delivers on flavor and hospitality. From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer recommendations with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious — full of authentic Tibetan flavors and beautifully prepared. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Whether you’re trying their momos, thukpa, or any of the traditional plates, you’re in for a treat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying meal and a genuinely pleasant dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Delicious! This was our first time trying Tibetan food and it was excellent. The flavors had a lot of similarities to other Asian cuisines, including Indian and Chinese. We tried the lentil soup, fried beef momo, combination chicken and beef chow mein, and got a hot chocolate to go. Everything was wonderful and the lentil soup and momo were divine. The ginger and garlic in the momo were perfect and the lentil soup had a nice complex curry flavor. The hot chocolate was a mix between hot chocolate and chai with some cardamom and cinnamon (yum!). The owner was also very nice. If we didn’t live 6 hours away, we would be regulars.

Tibet Kitchen was a nice surprise toward the back of a strip mall. We were stopping for lunch, anticipating that Subway would be our only option, but who would have expected a Tibetan place right around the corner? Chai tea, thukpa soup, and chicken momo were all very satisfying; the buffet looked a bit picked-over as it was already past 1:00, so we skipped it in favor of the regular lunch menu. The shapta(?) beef, onions, and bell peppers in a broth, was alright, but I probably wouldn't order it again -- not very flavorful. Santa Fe locals have their pick of some diverse restaurants!
