Klondike Pizza — Restaurant in Santa Maria

We went to Klondike Pizza on a Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in the afternoon. We ordered a medium garlic and chicken pizza, two small salads a aloha burger and one soda. The cost of a mini lunch for three was forty dollars. Approximately 20-25 minutes later our pizza was brought to the table. The burger showed up about five minutes later. Our meal was delivered by a server who moments before was sanding the front door to the restaurant. There was another employee who was assembling a new metal dining table right by the entrance. That should have been my first clue to turnaround. The tables chairs were sticky. The aloha burger was served on a hot dog bun and the aloha burger had pineapple and bell peppers as toppings. The bell peppers actually had frost on them from being recently pulled out of the freezer. I guess the chef thought the frozen bell peppers would add the extra crunch factor. No onions but they did serve chips with the burger. Not homemade chips but a small sack of lays potato chips. The bathroom was unisex and filthy. Water was standing in the sink. They even had video machines for that extra...

I've never had a bad experience there except tonight.

When ordering we asked what sodas they had. The girl answered "Coke Products" twice. I guess we were supposed to know what soft drinks Coke makes instead of her just telling us. When our pizza came they didn't bring any plates. We asked twice and nothing. I had to go up and ask again. Same with the drinks. Then I was told I had to bring my receipt up to get the drinks. Ok. Maybe we could have been told that from the beginning or when we asked the server for them. It wasn't like the place was packed. I've always had our drinks and plates brought to us within minutes of sitting down.

Slow! 45 minutes to get our pizza but only 5 groups of people in the place. Didn't tell us it was going to be that long. Claimed it was all the deliveries they had. And to put icing on the cake, a group that sat down at least 15 minutes after ous got their pizza less then 2 minutes after us. No manager involved and no one had any sense of urgency nor did they care. I was told that was just the way it is. Pizza was meh! Be a great place to work though, no worries and no stress. I will say I have had good dealings here but this is the most recent and I won't be back...
