Around 9:00 PM 7/ 6/25 My wife and I went to this particular Subway. There was a young man, coughing, sneezing, and cleared his throat while preparing a sandwich. I quietly suggest to him you might wanna put on a mask. He proceeded to tell me with an attitude …What for! Then he proceeded to wipe his nose on his Shirt while preparing a sandwich before mine. So when it was time for my sandwich to be dressed I told the young man nicely I would like for the other guy to make my sandwich The young man got mad and started grumbling and saying nasty words to me (mind you I’m old enough to be his dad) so the young man start swelling up like he wanted to fight me so I tried to de-escalated, the unpleasant atmosphere but the young man wouldn’t let it go I guess he has some personal issues? So, I gave him some unpleasant words and I asked the young man what you wanna do?😡 my wife and I went through all this because I did not want the sick guy to make our sandwich. I wanted the other very nice and professional employee that greeted my wife and I first to make our sandwiches. I will never go back to this particular subway again. Had my sub toasted the guy went to help next customer his partner instead of finished my sub continued changing veggies and stuff, by the time the guy put the sub of the customer behind me in the oven, mine for sure was already cold. So he finished mine putting veggies and said she will ring you up, right? Nope she continued pulling more stuff out of the fridge. So I left the store without saying anything. The young man starting it off had everyone fired up with his pleasant smile, sense of humor, and great salesmanship. Upselling to footlongs all day!! That guy gets it! Everyone acknowledged you and had a smile. The line was a bit long but they moved it along at a great pace, having anyone in and out faster than I rxpected.
