Pearl East Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Santa Maria

Best Chinese Restaurant in the area, I don't care what others say. The food is not only hot, beautiful and delicious, it's prepared more like authentic Chinese food than any place I've seen on the Central Coast. Their Vegetable rich dishes don't over meat everything and the balance is gorgeous. With native speaking chefs and staff, Pearl East has an authenticity that I can't find in the Americanised Chinese places that exist in smallish towns. The prices are still insanely inexpensive and the "Americanized" Chinese dishes "Lo Mein", "Sweet and Sour Pork" are amazingly rendered and done beautifully. Well I ain’t to really say about Restraunt’s but this one right here there is a older lady short black hair Chinese well I told her my food was not cooked good and she got mad and said it was like every ones eals food I told her no it taste bad and very cold like they just put it in microwave and gave it out for some one eals to eat, well I think if you spend your money should u not get good food or what u spend your money on, well she went back started throwing dishes around and a nice guy came out to give me a different dish but I say this place with that older lady is bad for buisness if she was throughing dishes around because she was mad I was like wow lady if somthing ain’t cooked right just change it so just letting you all know it’s bad service and they don’t wash there...

Well, if you’re looking for really tasty food for a great price, and a less-busy establishment with quick service, this might be the place for you. We shared the entire restaurant with maybe 1 other table while we were there. We ordered dinner for 2 plus an additional egg foo young dish. Food was fast and really tasty. In fact, we had so much food leftover that we were able to bring enough home for a second round meal for the both of us.
