Me review from when they 1st opened: I got the Acme buger, Spouse got the Sonoma buger, his was better, i think there wasn't sauce on mine, mine was dry & bun too overtoasted, which made sandwich dry. Burger still had a hint of pink but wasn't juicy. Fries & onion rings were great. They don't have Ranch a a dipping sauce which is what i pref with my Onion rings. I also ordered a 8oz mushroom soup, got home & no soup... would've have been such a big deal but it was almost $5 for soup (could've bought 3 cans of it@ that price). They also don't put onions on the sandwiches, only Lettuce & Tom so if you're a big onion fan like myself be sure to ask for it & specify raw or camelized (upcharge).
Milkshakes: we got a chocolate shake, one sip & you could tell it's not a real milkshake made from chocolate ice cream, was made from vanilla with too many pumps of choco syrup & alot of that settled to the bottom. Wonder if they do the same with the strawberry shake, just strawberry syrup? Don't care to find out.
Gal at register acted like she hated her job & ppl. I had to ask for an Acme card that they mark when u get a combo, after 10 combos you get a free combo. We had purchased 2 combos. Understand since it's newly opened they're prob slammed, but those small things build your customer base.
All in all, was a good burger & sides, but when having to choose tween this or The Habit or 5 Guys, Habit/5Guys wins for me with the better shake flavors, offers Ranch, and juicier burgers. Habit if you're reading this, just ditch the mcdonalds shredded lettuce & opt for full leaf😋
New Review as of 8/19/23: Bun no longer toasted. Ranch is offered. Still loved the sides but wans't impressed with the Sonoma Burger. Next time I'll be trying a diff sando (fish or...
Read moreGuy at the front told me catch up and mustard were self-serve. Girl who bring me water later spoke my name as she handed me my hamburger and fries. She tells me if you want ketchup or mustard they are self-service, I told her that would be great.. moment later she appears with catch up and mustard for me. She asked me how my Burger was, I told her it was great.. but the catch-up is phenomenal, I asked her is this real tomato ketchup made from real tomatoes.. who's your supplier. She disappeared and quickly returned with a whole big batch of ketchup explaining to me it came from Heinz, but neither of us were too certain if it was recipe 57.. by the time my hamburger had disappeared from sight, I felt that girl deserved a tip. I was supposed to get up and receive my hamburger, I was supposed to get up and fetch my own catch up and mustard.. she made me feel right at home and gave me table-side service.. if you are the employer of this girl, give her a raise. She went above and beyond and provided excellent service to a Corky customer who don't get off the mountain often . City Life lights at busy intersections,.. and self service ketchup.. so forgen.. she made the hamburger...
