After reading all the reviews I'm just cracking up what people complain about!! We went for there pop up "brunch" this last Sunday. Amazing! If you follow there instagram or Facebook you would know when she is open! We found her at Cooprage brewing company with her pizza truck ( her catering business)! We had the fungi pizza and it was mouth watering. She only dose Brewery and private catering events with the pizza . Now we found out she is doing "pop ups" at her cafe ,some Sundays when she is not booked doing pizza. And she has a guest catering Company smackin soul food come in a do a collaboration.. it's like the best of both worlds you get to taste these catering companies food without having to book them it's called a pop up to all the people that don't know. We ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich, which was divine waffle ,crispy chicken, full of flavor, love the hint of apple in the slaw, and aïoli was amazing. My fried ordered the breakfast fries from Smackin soul food Tri-tip on top of sweet potato fries was just a perfect breakfast combo. And yes, I paid three dollars for a water because it's bottled and you don't know if the tapwater is clean that's the average price for restaurant or café. We had a DJ playing amazing music so it really set the vibe for the patio . All orders are Togo but you can sit and chill and enjoy your food there..or take it home..Our food came out, hot and fresh, I waited about 20 minutes and it was worth the wait. Can't wait for the next pop up. I will definitely be back for brunch! I support local business you can tell both chefs put time and love into there...

Ann (Anne?) the owner was more than happy to explain things and to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.
It's all outdoor seating there, but as I was there with my 88 year old mom who was cold, Ann actually brought a table and chairs inside the teeny area between the cash register and the kitchen so she could sit inside!
We ordered two original chicken sandwiches, with the slaw on the side. Once we tasted it though, we mixed it with the aioli and put it in the sandwiches ourselves..lol. If it's on the side, she serves it dry so it doesn't get soggy.
The sandwiches had fried chicken breast (I'm assuming pounded thin) ginger honey, apple slaw and pickled mayo with garlic aioli (for the slaw mix), all put inside a light, homemade waffle, which was then folded in half and cut in two. It was quite satisfying and not super heavy...although neither of us could eat both halves (though I suspect I COULD have, but knew I'd probably pay for the indulgence later).
We ordered beignets to go ($5 for 3), but HAD to try one before we left...again, new to us. It was pretty much like light, fresh made fried dough with powdered sugar. However, it made me nostalgic for the fairs we used to go to back home, which was nice.
All in all, it was a great experience that for us, would be a perfect...
Read moreI went here at 10am when they opened the other day. Was greeted by a wonderful and nice woman who took our order and answered any question. I ordered a Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich, some Chicken Tenders, some Bone in Chicken pieces, dirty fries, and beignets. Everything I ate was delicious. The sandwich was spicy but not overwhelmingly so. All the chicken pieces where delicious. Cooked perfectly and so crispy outside. The fries must have been good because they disappeared so quickly I barely remember eating them. And lastly the beignets. So warm....so fluffy....so unbelievably delicious. Just don’t make my mistake and take a deep breath in as you go to take your first bite of the beignets, You will inhale the powdered sugar and cough instantly creating a huge white sugar cloud. It was very funny to everyone including myself. All the while the wonderful staff there made sure we wanted for nothing. I was thinking about giving them four stars for not having some sort of service to wheel me to my car after being so horribly full, but I think that’s just asking a little much. I will be going back here many times I am sure. Go, you will not be...
