Ordered for delivery through the Subway app on 2/14. I was delivered the wrong order, which I was taking to have lunch with my daughter at school. I called several times over 20 mins to try and get a resolution before lunchtime and no answer. I put my issue in on the website later that afternoon and got a reply. The reply included excuses on why the wrong order was delivered and asked how I placed my order. The next reply was more excuses on why the phone wasn’t answered, due to one person working busy lunch rush (it was 9am), claimed her husband working tried to call me back which is untrue I had no incoming calls and offered to “replace my sandwich” though my order was $25 and for 2 meals. 3rd reply email was again, more excuses on why things weren’t handled correctly, and finally an offer to refund my order that I did not receive. I sent back a screenshot from the app which included my order time and order number, amount I paid, card payment info so they could find the order and process the refund. Well here we are 2 weeks later and now I am not receiving responses to my last 3 emails inquiring about the refund that she said she was “happy to process” for again, food I never received. Read moreI work at a food place, let me just start there. I placed my order an hour before closing. 2 subs. Probably the most simple subs they made all day. A lady called to tell me they didn't have meatballs for my 6" meatball marina. I asked if I could just get it taken off. She responded essentially to tell me she would have to get a manager and quite honestly is too lazy to do so. So instead, since I was being forced to get something else, I asked for the 6" to be the same as the footlong. (How unprofessional it is to groan about having to get your manager to take off a sandwich. I would absolutely never groan to one of my customers about the job I'm being paid to do.)
Here's the kicker. The bread is wrong. The toppings are missing. Working in a food service job, I hate to complain but 1 hour before close and we forget how to do our jobs?
Incase anyone was wondering, the footlong was just turkey, mayo, black olives and tomato and they forgot black olives.
Unfortunately I will be calling to get a refund or something, too many red flags. Whoever that girl was who spoke to me probably needs a lesson on customer service. You never imply to a customer you're too lazy to get a manager to do their job....
