Pop's NightClub & Concert Venue — Restaurant in Sauget

First and only visit! I attended the battle for pointfest pop's and had a great time. The problem came at the end of the night when one of the bands and I were sitting around a table chatting. I had just finished a drink and went to get another as i walked to the bar to decided to throw my cup, now only containing ice, into the trash. The cup hit tue edge of the can and then hit the floor. I picked it up apologized to the 2 employees standing there then was immediately kicked out. This is not how you treat people. If i had been drunk, loud or abusive fine kick me out, but for dropping a cup of ice? Yeah good business practice. On top of being kicked out i found out from a bouncer that it was the owner that saw me drop my cup and he was quote "just in a pissy mood." I'm a bartender and people spill stuff all the time you clean it up and say accidents happen. I wasn't even allowed to tell my friends that i had to leave prompting them to search the busy club for me. Stay far away! Find a better venue one that isn't aubject to the whims of a...

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I'm sorry if any of you had a bad time there but I have been to about 300 shows there and have never once had any problems and that's saying a lot. I agree the area isn't the greatest but if your that judgmental than I can see why you have problems in the first place. The bouncers and staff could have been better but guess what....they are under new management now and have weeded out the few rude workers. Most however are very polite. This is a legendary venue which cares about its local scene and does a tremendous amount to help with there artists. Please do not be scared off by the other peoples negative comments for there experience was probably negative because obviously so was there attitude. I love this place and have been coming to shows there since I was 18 and I am now 28. I will never go to another venue for this is home for me!! I will say this the beer is overpriced but I believe its going down due to new management. Best memories of my life were here and yours can be as well!! Thank you for your time!!...

Hadn't been to Pop's in 14 years and my husband and I were there to take our 5 yr old daughter to her first concert, to see her favorite band Avatar on May 24th. She is in a wheelchair and the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable and safe experience for her. She had a blast and got a number of items from the band including a signed poster. I don't know who all was involved in orchestrating that, but it basically just made her year and left me in tears. I am so grateful to the staff and everyone who checked on us throughout the show. We will definitely be back. The crowd was great, as was the ambiance, sound, lighting, crowd, and I was pleasantly surprised in the cleanliness of the bathroom.
