Mike's Place — Restaurant in Saugus

Out of state tourist and this is my first place to try out the food here in Massachusetts and I'm giving this place a 1 star review based off the severe inaccuracy of the pricing of their seafood menu from the store and their website.

What I ordered - 1x - Large Clam Seafood Box (Site says 17.99 vs 24.99 going in to pick up) 1x Small Scallop Seafood Box (Site says 8.50 vs 16.99 going in to pick up)

I payed 44.07 for a mediocre tasting and rubbery fried clams and scallops and some of the batter wasn't cooked completely. Also it's not abundant it was very small like the box size was equivalent to a small boat order of wings from Buffalo Wild Wings.

So if you're from ordering this place for its seafood and looked through their website for prices, avoid ordering it until they fix the website pricings and pictures that went with those orders. I should've walked out and not turn back but they were nice gents and for that they deserved a star.

My roommate and I felt ripped off based off the false advertising on their website and pictures. They need to update their pricing and pictures for their food, it doesn't match at all and taste good.

I ordered a cheeseburger plates. Salad looks okay, fries were like Kelly's Roast Beef, now for the Onion Rings they were a disaster lots of them missing batter coating and not like several others sub shops. Original Cheeseburger was cooked correctly, however they bombarded it way to much ketchup & mustard to the point my fingers & face was covered from the condiments. 1 bite I had to complain about it, they took it back made me a new 1 however this 1 was definitely way more rear then it should have been.
