Linda's Seafood Market — Restaurant in Savannah

So let me tell you about this place. I actually did not go inside I was outside the facility talking to someone so I guess because of the way my phone is set up if I'm in the area about it to ask me how what. Here's why I no longer support this business. This happened over a year ago. I place the order over the phone muscles fried fish some shrimp you know things like that lemonade. I want it the muscles they say they can deshell them and put them in the butter and I order all my sauces. Okay so I went inside got my order once I get ready to pay for it the gentlemen will show me my order and I told him hey I ordered three extra shrimp sausage and 2 inch Granada sauces and two extra hot sauce and I did all that over the phone I paid for you know he told me the total so I paid for it. The gentlemen say no, he did not tell me that you already paid for this he said you want to pay for the food so he went and got the guy so as I'm communicating with him I'm like hey I told you over the phone that I wanted you know this episode this many of them and everything you told me to talk okay mother Batman looked at me and say no you didn't you didn't tell me that I said yes I did he told me it was my fault he scrubbed his shoulders as if he did not care and basically was like if you want the sauce you better pay for more. I want it to flip out. Not going to lie I wanted to say a lot of words to that man in that moment but I did not I knew that I was going to go out and with my friends and we like our sauce I love sauce me myself. But I made a promise to myself that I would never spend my money with them again and I have not ever went inside that building since that incident happened. Now let me be honest their food is not horrible the only reason why I do not go back is because the way I was treated that day. Outside of that, you're not bad and I actually would recommend them as long as you don't get treated disrespectfully. I just didn't like that when someone is spending that money with you you are supposed to be pleasant especially in situations like that he could have simply said hey I'm sorry I made a mistake I did not charge you for it or something like that that you being nasty giving me an attitude as if I did something wrong with you took the order and I know I told you my order because I'm very specific I'm very serious about getting things right because sometimes I'm ordering for more than one person. So yeah that that really that really did a number on me and that's what made me stop...

At first I was a lil skeptical bc from the outside the building looked old , however, when I walked inside, it was very clean and didn’t smell like “fish”, inside was just as old, but clean. The 3 that were working up front was wearing masks and gloves as they prepared my order. So I was looking for blue crabs(cooked) they had none, but showcased the garlic crabs that looked very fresh. I ordered 1lb,(as it’s my first time) I also ordered 1small conch, 1 devil crab(fried) and 3of their homemade drinks…IYKYK When I say my entire order “delivered”I’m serious! It was so fresh and delicious! I told my husband I’ll drive that 40-50 extra miles EVERYTIME for fresh seafood, I love seafood, I don’t eat it as much as I use to but when I do I want it fresh and flavorful!!! I will come again and again, and will recommend others from my area to travel the distance!...

My parents love seafood, so I wanted to grab a few seafood items to bring en route to Florida. I searched online and stumbled upon Linda's Seafood Market. The reviews did mention it is in a location that seems a bit rough, but it wasn't too bad just go during daylight. We called in our order, but still had to wait for a while since they were very busy. The staff was graciously friendly and even helped bring the items out to the car. The food was still good even after two or three days. They do have a very limited parking space area (around seven spots) behind the building, but you can park street side. They had a constant flow of customers and I noticed they seemed very happy walking out with their takeout or catering orders, which was a good sign....
